Ysabel opened her mouth to give a response to the owner's question. But she was interrupted by the jingling of the bells hanging above the door.
Water dripped from the man's coat as he walked across, passing by the owner, who greeted him politely and turned to Ysabel while he found a seat.
"Excuse me, your highness. My staff left for a few days, so it's just me around here. When you're ready to order, I'll come to you as soon as possible."
Ysabel nodded, bidding the owner to go and tend to the newcomer.
'That's him,' Ysabel followed the owner with her eyes. She watched as she took the man's order.
Biting her lower lip, she thought about the excuse she needed to make to get Kian off her back.
