Gerald steadies his halberd, his eyes scanning the Arena, 'I'd prefer not to have to, but I may need to steer this fight into another to get some assistance... This kid has already got the timing of my ability down, and while I can push it further if one of the others loses, I won't be in a good enough condition to fight again.'
Gerald leaps forward, dragging the tip of the halberd along the ground, then when he gets close enough he swings it horizontally, Modri leaps back a few feet to avoid it, but Gerald then twists the pole of the halberd, sending the boulder off as jagged shards of rock.
To avoid this, Modri uses 'Earth Swim' going into the ground below. Gerald smirks as he squats down, 'Perfect, it worked for you once, but it won't work again!'
