Modri dashes through the air, soaring straight toward where he sent Derrick flying. Derrick groans loudly on the ground as a white magic circle appears above him with a white light washing down upon him as his bones begin to mend and his wounds fade.
'If I hadn't set up contingents, I would be dead...!' Derrick thinks, 'Judging by his power and the energy around him, he is receiving help from his god. Assuming that that is the case, I won't be able to win this fight normally, I'll have to outplay him.'
Modri lands, his eyes still burning with anger as Derrick grins, "You saved your friends! Admirable, but your town will still burn-"
Modri dashes forward and swings to punch as Derrick narrowly side-steps Modri's fist. Using this opening, Derrick creates a multitude of small mana shields and slams them into Modri, compressing the magic into itself and multiplying the power of the attack dozens of times over.
