Hours before Rolia's message, Brian and Alvaro walk north, occasionally interacting with random people they meet, but they haven't learned anything of much value. As they walk, Alvaro says, "I know that you trust these people, but I cannot so readily trust those who were only a short few days ago our enemy."
"I understand your hesitation, but I can assure you that these people do not hold ill will toward our country," Brian responds, "The person we are looking for, Ray, defeated me as well as my unit and yet made sure to not kill any of us. They wish to see the end to this war."
"Hm..." Alvaro thinks for a second and replies, "How do they plan to end the war?"
"Well, that is a rather long story..." Brian says. Brian then explains all of what he has learned from his time with Ray and his group as well as the actual cause of the war.
