"The Lost One?!" Brian shouts reflexively as a couple of those unaware in the crowd also gasp.
"While tales have been told about how the Lost One is evil and plots against the gods, none of these rumors are true. I hold no ill intention toward the gods or humanity, as most of you can attest to. I have protected those on this cliff for as long as you have been here, even in my absence, my Champion defended you." Ray says as he gestures over to Modri.
"You all live in a small town because of the harsh hierarchy cities can have, but once my existence is known, I can grant you a comfortable place to live in dignity. So I ask of all of you, you do not need to worship me, just trust that I will help you." Ray finishes his speech then time skips away.
Everyone begins to look around at each other as murmurs sound throughout the village as people try to decide what to do. Ray reappears with his group, and Brian attempts to punch him square in the jaw.
