Raigal stirs after having been unconscious for hours. his head is aching with pain as he rubs his chin, bruised from Ray's punches. 'Damn... He hits way harder than he used to...'
On the table next to him he sees a note, with his name on it.
'Raigal, I am unaware of what is going on with you, and why you attempted to do what you did. Do not do anything rash, leave this building and go to the guild hall nearby and meet with me there.'
Raigal sighs as he waits for a minute, staring down at the ground. 'I failed my simple objective... Heh, guess father was right, I am quite disappointing...'
Raigal gets up and approaches the door, but before he can open it the shadow cast onto the door dances wildly, forming a face.
"You have failed me... But you can still succeed. Fulfill your purpose and I will grant your wish, you shall be free. Do not fail me again, little Shadowdance." The Shadow says.
