Back in the present, everyone is staring in a mixture of shock and awe at Ray as he stands before them. Jirin blinks his eyes rapidly, 'Am I hallucinating…? Ray is back…?'
"Where the hell have you been?!" Jibani shouts with a mixture of anger and concern, "You left all of us in the middle of the war, and you couldn't even be bothered to say goodbye?!"
Ray turns to her and responds, "I can tell you all later. But for now, all I need is confirmation on something. He was the one that hurt all of you right?" Ray gestures over to Herald.
"Ray, you surprised him but you can't win, get out of here!" Minaric shouts.
Ray doesn't even respond as he dashes over to Herald who has just gotten up. Herald quickly swings his sword, but Ray dips beneath it and quickly spins around kicking him right in the center of the chest, sending him up into the air a dozen or so feet.
