"Half a year?!" Ray shouts, "There is a war going on! People could die if I am gone that long!"
Kaine furrows his brow, "Stop being so self-centered! Believe me, as I am you. I care for those people as well, but as of right now, you must grow stronger, the opponents you will face far outway what you are capable of. What will you do when your enemies get serious? Resist? You are weak!"
"You haven't even learned to control your wrath! The strongest you can become is through your anger which will cause more harm than good! Your friends will survive without you for a while, but if you want them all to survive this war, you must grow beyond this point!" Kaine shouts.
Ray grits his teeth, frustrated, 'Dammit!! As much as I hate it he is right… After this recent fight I know I need to grow, especially if I keep having these episodes where I have memories that aren't mine I could end up causing my own death…'
