Ray coughs as he gains control over his mouth again and stutters, "W-what do you mean? And who are you?"
"You are smarter than that, I am you. More accurately, I am Kaine, someone you will become. You are at the beginning of a very dangerous path you will not hope to survive on unless you can truly comprehend what you are." Kaine says.
"What does that mean? I am a go- No… I guess I am outside of that. An… Enigma?" Ray thinks out loud as he attempts to unravel the meaning behind Kaine's words.
"Exactly, you must comprehend what can't be understood. Beings have been interfering with your path since the very beginning, first the one who kept you in the void longer, then the one who sent that monster at you all the way up until now. But, right now we are outside of their influence, at least most of them." Kaine states.
"Who is interfering with me?" Ray questions.
"I can't tell you that, because you don't know," Kaine responds bluntly.
