Pexy Sharacter entered the spaceship just as Throgday did, this time from an adjacent passageway. He had apparently come down from engineering. There were dozens of good angles to hide under in that part of the ship. All Sharacter needed to do was wait for

No sooner did Ellanjay greet Sharacter than a door swung open to reveal what remained of Faye's dear departed Throgday. "I see we have some guests." This world seemed incredibly theatrical, made worse still by its historical trappings. Stone arches rose high overhead, spreading like an umbrella over the largest set of doors Throgday had ever seen. A mosaic floor stretched between them; layered red and black stone patterns rippled in an alternating sequence up one wall to the round portico that spanned the other three. Paintings filled every space not taken by light fixtures or weapons. Blasted doors creaked open to serve larger suits
of armor, sets of white-and-red stripes and a haloed picture of Fume. Guardsmen stood, posed ready to meet their return with tear-filled looks on face. The doors swung closed. More guards climbed from elsewhere within to fill the low ceiling.
"Throgday was here!" exclaimed Neysa (or Ettin). She clung to a pillar, tail wrapped around her toes, feet poking from one side of the pillar to another.
