Chapter 45 - Chapter 45: Treasure Hunt!

It was about time they left for the School Camp, Jenna packed her things she'd be needing and she helped packed up Arnold's as well.

"You should go have your bath now." Jenna walked out with her bathrobe on and her hair completely damp.

Arnold looked out of the window as though he saw a ghost out there. Jenna turned to look at him, she didn't just know what he looked at.

"Arnold?." She asked but he didn't reply or even turned to look at her.

"What is it and what are you looking at?." She walked to him.

"Who's there?." She was now right behind him, he immediately closed the curtains and turned to her.

"It's no one." He held her face with both hands.

"Is anything wrong?." Sue tried to look through the window.

"Come on, let's start packing." He took her away from the window.

The whole time Jenna couldn't help but worry about him, she liked his way every now and then but he seemed to be always lost in his thoughts.

They got to the school and every teacher and kids made their way into the bus. Arnold and Jenna got on the bus and Corey took the car back to the Mansion.

"You haven't really told me what I'd be doing here Jenna." They walked to a lady counting the number of kids that got on the bus.

"You'll find out soon."

"Heyy Mrs Shakes." Jenna smiled.

"Miss Jenna, you're here."

"Yes."

"And this must be your partner for the game." She liked at Arnold who stood confused.

"Yes he is." She smiled holding his hand.

"Okay then, please get on the bus." She gave way for them to go in.

They walked in and sat at the last roll. The journey was two hours and some minutes drive and it was so quiet.

The kids began to sing a song and soon the teachers and some other people they invited joined in.

Jenna didn't know the song so she remained silent and enjoyed the melodic voices.

The car stopped at a green field, the camping materials were all set up, the fun games and every activity they were to do there were all arranged. The kids jaws dropped immediately they saw jumping castle and other fun stuffs there.

"Okay, I know you are all excited but today's game is...."

"The Treasure Hunt!!!" She said put loud and the kids screamed in excitement.

"You haven't heard the fun part of it yet. The fun part of it is that there are Treasures hidden at every corner which you all would have to find." She looked at their excited faces as they jumped for joy.

"I'll give out the Treasure Map to your teachers but you'll all be divided into different groups, one in which would go with a teacher." She gave out the map to the five teachers that includes Jenna. Every female teacher came with a male just in case.

"I smell fun, ever done this?." She asked Arnold.

"What's that?."

"A treasure hunt." She looked into the map she held.

"I never did such." He looked to his left as if he saw something strange or disturbing.

"This is so nice fun, you'll love it, that's the more reason I asked you to come." She smiled but then it disappeared when she saw the look on his disturbing face.

"You seemed disturbed about something is anything the matter?." She studied his face.

"No, I'm all good."

"The first team to get back with all the complete treasure coins wins!." Mrs shakes said with a loud microphone.

Jenna was given about eight kids and her bestie was among the kids that were on her team.

"Go now!." She blew the whistle abs everyone dashed into the woods looking for their treasure coins.

"Arnold you'll need to run a bit fast, we gotta win this okay?." She said running.

"You forced me into coming here, don't forget you owe me." He grinned.

"I remember, can we please concentrate on winning this?." She looked into the map as the kids walked in front.

"Seems there's a treasure coin around here, I think it's covered with leaves or something." She traced her finger in the map and then pointed to a direction.

"I think it's over there! Go get it kids!." She smiled as she saw the kids running towards the direction she pointed at, they began to clear the leaves as they searched for the coin.

"Dig dig, dig!." They heard a voice said amongst the children.

Two other kids dug the ground with a plastic shovel.

"I've seen it! I've seen it!." A boy shouted.

"Where is it?." They all said in chorus.

"Here!." He raised it up for them to see.

"Wow! Is that a real gold coin? I've seen those in movies." A little blonde girls eyes widened.

"Here Miss Jenna." He gave the gold coin to Jenna and she kept it in the bag.

"Great Job!."

They had gotten outta the woods though they got second place. It was evening now and they sat close to the fire roasting marshmallows and meat while telling stories about Bigfoot.

Jenna and Arnold went to set up their tent for the night. Arnold's mood didn't change, he was still worried and thinking about something each time she saw him, but he didn't want to tell her anything that was bothering him and she was so worried.

"Was he in any kind of trouble??, did he get a bad news?." She stared at him as he sat looking down to the ground.

"What's wrong? You've been this way since this morning, are you worried about something? Could you tell me what's bothering you?." She held his shoulders from behind.

"Was just thinking, I mean it's almost a month now, just two week left, and you'd be leaving soon."

She froze, she totally forgot about that, she would leave Arnold soon and now it got her thinking.
