The best graduating student for the Onyx Class of American University goest to Christopher Jones!!!! The whole student applauded him with a chant of his nickname "CJ" You should have seen the proud look on Mr and Mrs Jones's face, all other parents looked their way in envy but it meant nothing to them because this was their moment. Not long after this joyous day of Mr&Mrs Jones took an unexpected turn, a turn that could slaughter one.Christopher was summoned upon to give his gratitude speech, he walked elegantly to the podium and was about to commence his speech, suddenly his face turned sober, his gaze was fierce and was fixed to the back of the audience, his legs and hands went shaky and his tongue went numb. The audience noticed this moment and cheered him on thinking he forgot his speech or was scared.
"Christopher Jones will you commence the speech?" The Master of Ceremony said into the microphone, but it seems Christopher was lost in another realm, the audience started muttering amongst themselves and this made Mrs Jones uncomfortable, she waved at Christopher but was staring at her, this worried her and wanted to go meet him on the podium, before she could conclude on what to do, a loud shot interrupted her. Wait was that gunshot? Who got shot? Who shot the gun? A loud gasp came from the audience but that was not enough, Mr& Mrs Jones screamed and ran to the podium to check what went wrong with their son, Oh My World!!!!!! Christopher was lying in his own pool of blood, the hall turned into a chaotic market whereby students and parents were scrambling for their safety. Mr&Mrs Loraine were not left out, they held their daughters Jenny and Callie closely and went up the podium to check on Christopher, Jenny could not believe what her eyes saw, it was an eyesore, she broke down in tears and gave a loud cry.
"Jenny it's okay" were the words that came out of her mother's mouth bitterly
" Mom what should I do, I feel like my whole world has crumbled" Jenny cried out soberly. Mrs Loraine could not bear seeing her daughter in that devastating manner, Callie, Jenny's younger sister bent closely to her and gave her a hug, she whispered to her
" Jenny sis don't be broken, this was all you wanted" What???? What did I want? Did Callie kill Christopher? Why will Callie kill Christopher? All these were the thoughts going through Jenny's head as at that moment, she tilted her head up and left Callie's arms, she stood up and went up to Mrs Jones to console her. At about 20 minutes the ambulance arrived at the scene and took Christopher cold body along with them, Mr & Mrs Jones went along with the medics, The Loraine's followed behind them with their car. Soon after the hall went so empty as everyone trooped out disheartened and in sorrow.
