"What did you just said? " Ella asked shocked. she was really surprised at this sudden confession. how long has Jayson been like this she wondered and above all she could not return his feelings as she already had Noir now. this relationship, what was going to happen now? many things popped into her mind at once and before she could say something back to him. she heard someone calling her name.
" Ella!" it was Noir and he was running towards her. Ella felt that she could not breath for a moment. in what awkward moment had Jayson put her into.
"Ella, what are you doing here? I have been looking for all around." he said anxiously as he reached her and held her hand.
"Ah!.. I.." words weren`t able to come out of her mouth. as if they were stuck. what should she do now? should she tell Noir what happened or not? how will he react? all these thoughts popped up at once in mind. she looked up at Jayson to see his face. but to her surprise he was no longer there. he was gone.
"Ella? What happened? What are you doing here all alone? " Noir asked worried.
" Huh!' she turned towards Noir. "Oh! It`s nothing." she said in a low voice. she wanted to tell him what had happened just now but she did not had the courage just yet.
"So what are you doing here?' he asked raising his eyebrow.
"Well, I thought I saw someone familiar here but it was just a delusion maybe.' she said trying to end the conservation.
" Hmmm! you are really being delusional these days. should we go for a check up if you are not felling well? " he said anxiously.
"No, no need I am alright. i was just a bit confused and worried before but now I am fine." she said and smiled.
"Are you sure? " he asked doubting." Yeah, I am really sure. because I know that I have you now and I don`t need to worry about anything at all' she took a deep breathe and smiled because she finally realized that no matter what she only loved Noir.
A breeze blew away making her hair flutter in the air. she was looking surprisingly beautiful now that Noir`s eyes got wide open, he thought he was going to get captivated by her. his heart skipped a beat and his heart beat raced. he suddenly blushed. but to hide his face he put his hand to cover it. he was really speechless for a moment ."You..., how can you say something like this so easily' he almost whispered that Ella couldn`t hear him properly.
"What?" she asked tilting her head.
"Damn it" saying this he put his head on her shoulder as he felt almost paralyzed.
"Huh!?, hey what happened?" she asked confused.
He then looked up at her " You know what? this totally unfair.' saying this he leant forward and kissed her. he held her face in is hands and softly pressed his lips on hers. Ella got shocked with this sudden kiss. but in the mean time she also enjoyed it.
Sitting on the sofa, she kept thinking what she should do now and how will Noir and her relationship turn out at last. what will happen? will his parents agree for her? will they approve her as their daughter in law. and mostly how will her own parents react? just then Noir came from behind and hugged her. "what are you thinking so seriously?" he asked.
" Ah! it`s nothing." she replied softly.
"Really? But you know what I am thinking?" he said grinning.
"What?" she asked innocently that Noir again got captivated for a second. but then holding himself in he said," I am thinking to forbid you to think about anything else except me.' he said and smiled.
Now it was Ella`s turn to get all flustered up. how could he say something like that so abruptly she thought. " W. ..What?" she said stuttering.
" Well, seeing you immersed in thoughts all the time I have come to this conclusion that if really want to think something that badly then you should only think about me." he said in very serious tone teasing her.
" You.. how can you say this besides I was thinking about us anyway." she said all flushed.
"Really? What were you thinking about us?" he asked as if he was interested all of a sudden.
"I was thinking that how our families will react after knowing about our relationship. especially your parents. will they even approve for us to be together? " she said in a worried tone.
"Well, you Don`t need to worry about that either because no matter what. this time I will never give up on my love." he said firmly that she surprisingly felt relieved." So you don`t need to think about all this because I will take care of every thing. you should just focus on your health and our relationship." he said smiling.
"Hmm, Yeah." she smiled back as she replied.
Life is really unexpected. that`s what I always think. it sometimes goes so smoothly and sometimes become a bumpy road where you can fall at any time.
Ella tried to improve her way of thinking about life and it was surprisingly good that way. and maybe partially because she had Noir now. she decided to clear things with Jayson once and for all. she contacted him and asked him to meet her. then she told him everything about her relationship with Noir and that how much she loved him. she tried to solve everything in every possible way.
" Well, You know, I already knew that i don`t have a chance with you and I also had realized about your relation with Noir but still, you can call me selfish for being like this but still I wanted to tell you how I feel about you once. I wanted to tell so that I no longer have any regrets afterwards.'
Jayson said while looking downwards on the table sitting in a café with Ella.
"I understand you some what but I am sorry Jayson I can`t return your feelings for me. and just like before I would say that again, I really wish that you will find someone in your life who is really worthy of you and who could love back.' there was a moment of silence no one spoke anything at first. then Jayson said, "Umm.. Can we still be friends at least.?" he said hesitating.
"Of course. we will always be good friends just like before." she said and smiled. after that the chatted for a while and then Ella came back.
She was much relieved now. it was like a big burden was shaken off from her shoulders. she sat relaxed in her office. meanwhile Noir came in" you look quite happy today. did something good happened to you, my dear." hearing the last two words made her heart began to race.
"You.. You are at it again." she shouted flushed.
"At what again?" noir asked as if he really couldn`t understand.
" Again with these cheesy words to tease me." she said pouting.
"Humph! so so not like me being like this? " he asked grinning.
"Well it is not that I don`t like it but.."
"So you like it?" he said raising his eyebrow and teasing her at max.
"Argh! I don`t know. just stop teasing me." she said annoyed.
"Well, fine if you want that. by the way what were you so happy about" he asked again.
"Well.....
