He walked back to the room to see Reina fast asleep, so he tried not to make any sound and quietly walked to the other end of the bed and lied down but this time, for the first time he lied backing her, their backs faced each other. Reina turned to the right while Lorcan turned to the left.
Reina slowly opened her eyes and turned back to see if he was sleeping but it seemed he wasn't cause he was breathing fast.
She lied back as Lorcan turned back to see if she was sleeping as well.
This was the first time in their marriage he stayed without cuddling her. He never slept without having her in his arms.
Lorcan couldn't sleep, he had lots of things on his mind. Theodore was back and he didn't know when he'd attack or what he's planning to do. Lorcan swore never to let him have his wife ever again and he'd do everything to protect her from that evil man.
Having pictured how he tried to force himself on Reina was still fresh in Lorcan's head and he could never forgive him.
