The healer just left the room. Lorcan was seated on the bed while Livia and Xenia stood behind him.
"How could you two let this happen to her?." His back faced them and they were already trembling. Livia felt more scared cause she had seen Lorcan cut off a servants head in everyone's presence. She wondered what he'd do to her now.
"And you Xenia. You were supposed to be with her. How could you let this happen?." He turned to look at her.
"I..I tried Your Highness. She was so worried about you and she didn't eat anything. I begged and begged but she refused to eat until you arrived. She even wanted to go in search for you when she fell of the horse. I'm so sorry Your Highness." She bowed her head.
"I'd forgive you cause she's so attached to you. But you." He looked at Livia.
"You were supposed to look after her. Why would My Princess Starve?." He stared down to his beautiful innocent wife.
"She refused to have anything till she saw you. I'm sorry this happened Your Highness. When she blacked out we called the healer and she said it was due to stress. She's been crying since you left Your Highness." She bowed her head. She knew what would happen next. No Royal joked with their health and right now Xenia felt pity for her.
"You don't joke with My Princess. If this happens again I'll chop of your head and feed it to the Vultures." He glared. Livia just cried silently with her head down.
"Please forgive her Your Highness." Xenia begged.
"You may leave." He said with a cold voice and the two ladies left the chamber in a hurry.
He was now left alone with Reina. The healer had said she'd wake up in an hour time so he waited for her to wake up.
He couldn't believe she starved herself all because he hadn't arrived. It really confused him cause he didn't know what to think.
Her state is so bad right now. She didn't talk much and her eyes were so weak. She needed to get better and he would never leave her side.
He sat next to her holding her hand and his other hand patted her head gently. He stared at her beautiful face then he held her hand with both his hands and kissed It thrice.
Why was she so soft? She cried cause he was in pain? Who does that?. He liked the way she was and he found this Wife of his interesting.
After a while Reina woke up to see Lorcan seared closed to her. He was still holding her hand so she took her hands away making him turn to look at her.
"You awake. I was worried." He said calmly and reached out for her hand but she didn't give him chance to touch her.
"Stop doing that Wife. I don't like it when you're angry." He said softly.
"I demand to go to my chamber." She turned her face away from him.
"This is your chamber. Our chamber Wife. So you don't have to leave to anywhere." He explained.
"I just want to get away from you." She sat up and was about to leave the bed when he pinned her down to the bed.
"I just said you wouldn't be leaving." He said straightly and she knew he was serious.
She stared up at him. His hand was still on her shoulder pinning her down to the bed.
"You shouldn't disobey me Wife." He frowned.
"And what if I do? What would you do?. Cut off my head? Or beat me?." She wasn't supposed to say that but she was too mad to care.
"I would never raise my hands on you Wife. I promised to take care of you and not the opposite." He said calmly.
"Why did you leave without telling me?." She struggled to pull herself free but he wasn't letting her go.
"Answer me Lorcan." She needed answers right now but he wasn't saying anything.
"I learnt you didn't eat." He released his hand and pulled away from her letting her sit up.
"I wasn't hungry." She looked away from him with her arms across her chest.
"For days?." He grinned. He knew she was lying and that it all happened because he was away.
"You just lied Wife." He said to her but she said no word to him. She looked away from him and he felt bad that she was angry right now.
"Okay. I'm sorry." He placed his hand gently on her face then she turned her face away again.
"What is the problem Wife?." He shifted on the bed coming closer to her then he titled his head down to her neck. She felt his warm breath on her neck she really missed him. She wanted him to touch her but she was so mad right now.
"You aren't talking to me, Should I leave?."
"You may leave if you want to." Her face looked at the wall at her left. There as no way she'd look at him!
"I know you don't want me to leave." He kissed her shoulder.
"I do."
"No you don't. You missed me Reina and you missed my touch." He grinned moving more close to her.
Yes it was true. She missed him these few days he was away. He had no idea of how much she wanted to feel his hands on her.
Reina was quiet as she looked at him. Her eyes were teary and she immediately hugged him. He grinned as he pulled her into his embrace. She sobbed as she hugged him tight.
"You shouldn't have left me here alone Lorcan." She sobbed on his shoulder.
"Did you even think about me for once?" She rested her head on his chest.
"I did thought of you and that was why I rushed back to meet you Wife." He rubbed her back trying to make her calm down.
"Please stop crying. I don't like it." He kissed her ear down to her neck.
"I'll never leave without telling you. I promise." He whispered and she nodded.
He pulled away and lifted her chin with his thumb then he stared down to her lips and smirked.
"Do I still have to wait to have a taste of this?." He asked as he stared down to her lips and she averted her gaze.
Her stomach did a backflip and she felt like to pee.
"Don't look away from me Wife, tell me." He lifted her chin again.
