*The Next Morning*
Lorcan had woken up and was out of the room. He didn't want to disturb her sleep cause she had a long day yesterday.
The Morning sun streamed across the room. It shone really bright that she woke up.
She woke up to see Two Maids arranging the room. She yawned and turned to her left but she didn't see Lorcan. She remembered she had hidden the bottle of oil in her cloth but she checked her and couldn't find it anywhere on the bed.
"Did he??.." she raised the blanket up she saw that her undies were still in check. There was no blood stain and then she knew he didn't touch her.
She sighed in relief. But then she wondered why he hadn't disturbed her for that last night was it because of the oil smell??
She made sure she applied almost half a bottle of the oil on her skin just to prevent Lorcan from coming any close.
Though She wondered where he had gone this early.
"Good Morning My Lady." They greeted in chorus.
"Where's His Highness?." She sat on the bed that was now rough.
"He's at the Dining Room and he asked that you joined him as soon as you woke up My Lady." A maid replied while the other gestured.
"This way My Lady." She took her to the Bathroom and bathed her.
She got dressed and was led to the Dinning where Lorcan, Two Men, and King Reagan sat.
"Your Majesty." She bowed.
"Princess Reina You're welcome into The Royal Home of Samai. Please sit." He gestured.
Lorcan got up to pull out a chair beside him and she sat comfortably.
"Daughter of King Albert, we never expected Lorcan to be Married from that Kingdom right Brother?." Prince Theodore said to Prince Lysander.
"Well, I chose to be married to their Princess and I'd like it if you don't poke your nose into my business. Brother ." He said in a polite tone that didn't match the menacing look in his eyes.
"Theodore and Lorcan what's this about?." The King said to them.
"He was just welcoming Lorcan's new bride Father." Prince Lysander smirked.
"She's so beautiful." Theodore shot a glance at her and this made Lorcan clench his fist.
Lorcan knew the kind of person Theodore was. He was known for sleeping around with the wife of his men. He sometimes forcefully took the Maids to bed. The King punished him by taking away one of the Regions he owned. Still he didn't stop. He had lots of Mistresses and two wives still they weren't enough for him. Would he make a great king after King Reagan?
"Were they arguing?." Reina thought if this was how his brothers argued with each other. It wasn't just an argument it was a silent fight.
She knew Lorcan was trying to keep calm.
She found it hard to take food into her mouth cause of the Prince's glares.
But then she began to wonder why they didn't come for the Wedding Ceremony. Were they asked not to come? Or was it because of this little silent argument they exhibited here? Was it what they were trying to avoid.?
"What was happening? This whole place is strange. I'd ask Lorcan."
After Breakfast Reina walked to the Chamber. She wondered where Lorcan had gone to cause he left the Dinning Room before her.
Why did she care? Not like she had anything special with him if not that she forced herself to accept he was now her husband.
The Chamber was quiet and she could hear her footsteps as she walked.
She walked to the Mirror stand and checked the scented oils. She perceived each of them and she picked her Favorite.
Just then her eyes fell on The bad scented oil. She quickly looked around to see if Lorcan was around. Then she turned back to it.
"How did that get there.?." Somehow her heart pounded so hard and she felt it almost explode. She looked so scared and nervous if I'd say.
She thought she made a brilliant plan to get him away from her. Though she succeeded he wasn't supposed to know she purposely did it. She wondered how it got here and she thought of asking the Maids but they were not present at the moment.
She wasn't ready. She just wasn't ready to let Lorcan inside of her. If he wanted he could go have time with his Mistresses.
He hasn't told her he had one but she concluded he did cause every Prince of a Kingdom would have as much as they want.
She hasn't even asked if he had another wife.
Even if he did. He had the right to. It wasn't new.
Her Father also had Mistresses But he never stopped loving The Queen.
Even if Lorcan had another wife and thousands of Mistresses He was a Prince it was normal. She'd be selfish if she asked him to be hers alone.
Her Mother was okay with that so why wouldn't she?
She had already decided the night that Father broke the news to her that she'd be getting married to the Prince of Samai, she knew that there was no way she'd let him inside of her.
He could go spend his Night with his Mistresses that wouldn't bother her a bit.
Or would it??.
It was About five in the evening. Reina needed some fresh air so she sat by the open Window. Then she remembered when Xenia taught her how to look deep into the clouds to see their formation. It could either be an animal or an object.
She was so into it she didn't know when Lorcan walked into the room. He stood with his hands at his back and silently watched her.
"Oh there! there is an elephant." She pointed.
"There you are." He said not beaming. Reina slowly turned to look at him .
"Your Highness." She stood up now facing him.
"I wondered where you went Your Highness."
"I was with My Men," he replied looking gorgeous as always. His hair was poured back. He plaited the front and let the remains pour back to his waist. His hair was neatly arranged.
Her eyes went to his hair and she was curious to know how he braided it.
"Your Hair." She spoke when he cut her off.
"Yes. You just reminded me. I'll need to go to her to braid it." He replied.
"Her?? Who?? Your Mistress?" She asked.
"One of my many Mistresses My Lady." He replied with a grin.
"Oh." She felt a bit sad.
"Yes. I wouldn't be sleeping here tonight. If you need anything your Maids would be here to assist." Lorcan walked out of the room leaving her speechless.
She felt terrible Not because he was leaving her. But because he had Mistresses that he now wants to go spend time with. She'd even touch his long lovely hair. She felt she was his wife and that should be her duty at least not some Mistress.
Why was she feeling bad? This was what she wanted. Now he'd go be in the arms of another woman.
She didn't want to agree it was jealousy. She didn't even love him so why would she be jealous? Besides, it was just a night she'd be sleeping alone.
Or was he angry? Was he angry that I didn't let him touch me? Is this revenge for last night? She knew from the way he spoke that he wasn't happy. His face told it all.
That evening she ate less and went to bed. She felt so alone. She just couldn't fall asleep. She had scenarios that appeared in her head. He was her husband not anyone else's yet he'll go be in the arms of another woman.
With those thoughts in her head she forced herself to sleep. She slept angrily.
