(Clears throat)
Their eyes went to the Throne where the King and Queen were seated. They looked really happy. The Queen wasn't. Reina saw it in her face. She only forced a smile at the guests that came to greet them.
They were now all seated.
"Today we're gathered to celebrate my daughter's wedding to the Prince of Samai." Father raised his golden cup filled with wine.
"Let the ceremony's begin!" He said lastly.
Reina's eyes widened when father said those words.
"This Man was my supposed Husband??" She asked herself. She slowly turned to look at him. His eyes were fixed in a direction then he gazed at her. She couldn't breathe but managed to force a smile.
Everyone danced and was entertained by some musicians and dancers.
They had a game every Royal couple played at their Wedding Ceremony. They'd keep a bowl of milk and throw a ring inside it and whoever finds it would have control over the decisions in the marriage.
Lorcan and Reina sat and the bowl was right in front of them.
Everyone watched and waited for the whistle.
(Whistles**) Reina and Lorcan dipped their hands into the bowl searching for the ring.
Reina felt it but she missed it. Lorcan searched for it as well but he wasn't concentrating. His eyes were on Reina.
They continued searching. They felt the ring then they looked at each other.
someone has to win you know?
They both held the ring in the bowl of milk. Lorcan got it. He looked at her as she looked defeated.
Purposely let the ring out of his hand and pretended to search for it.
"Oh, I just dropped it." He said. Reina felt it was her chance to win. She ran her hands at the bottom of the bowl then she got it.
"I got the ring!" She smiled and raised it for Everyone to see.
Everyone stood up to clap for her.
"Why did he let me win?. He got the ring he would've raised it for everyone to see." She said to herself.
It was now time for them to leave. The carriage had now arrived. The King, Queen, and her brothers were out to say bye.
The Queen took her hands." You'll be fine My Princess. Just remember what I told you." She spoke while she hugged her.
"Take care of My Daughter." The King said to Prince Lorcan.
He nodded in response." Yes, Your Majesty." He slightly bowed.
Xenia stood at the right-hand side of the Queen. She waited for the Queen to be done with her before she went to her.
"Xenia" Reina went to her. She'd miss her. Now she was going to a different Palace where she knew no one there. She'd now be with her husband. Xenia had been with her since she was a Baby. She was the second closest to her after The Queen.
Reina's eyes welled up with tears. She tried holding them from falling. She tried hard not to blink cause a slight blink would make a tear roll down her cheek.
"No,no. Don't do that. You're in front of your husband. You wouldn't want him to see you as a crybaby now, would you?." Xenia hugged her tight and whispered.
"Don't worry. I'll come visit." She said and Reina nodded.
She needed to leave this place fast otherwise she'd end up bawling like a baby.
"Don't forget to write me a letter about your first night with your husband " she raised her brow and that made Reina let out a short cackle.
"Take care of yourself, My Princess." The King planted a kiss on her forehead.
"I will Father," she replied with a faint smile.
They got into the Carriage and rode in awkward silence.
"Wouldn't he at least say something?" She nervously sat looking down at her hand.
"Did you enjoy the wedding?" He asked as if reading her thoughts.
"Yes, I did Your Highness." She replied. She wanted to know more about her husband. She needed to know. She'd be spending eternity with him so she just needed to know what he was like. If possible what he'd want and want me not to do.
"You got the ring first. Why then did you let me win Your Highness." She turned to him.
He blinked Then he said.
"It just slipped out of my hand."
No, that was not true. She knew he did that purposely. Perhaps he saw the look on her face that was why he let her win.
"I know you did that on Purpose, Your Highness." She replied.
"It's Lorcan. And yes I didn't let you win on purpose." He smirked.
"Lorcan." She repeated.
No way he'd deceive her. She knew he did that on purpose but she wondered why he let her win. He had never lost in any battle but he lost in this one. "Was it because he was now married to me?" She thought.
"You've never lost in any battle but you lost in this. I defeated you." She smiled. She knew what was coming. She thought he'd spill out the truth himself.
" You're not so smart. My Lady." That was all he said.
"It's Reina." She corrected.
"I know. But I chose to call you My Lady. My Lady." The way he said it made her let out a short laugh.
There was a long moment of silence again. Reina thought to ask why his relatives and parents didn't attend the wedding. It was just some Chiefs and people from the Royal Court.
It was all weird to her. She wanted to ask but she didn't want to. "Maybe they must have a reason right?". She thought.
"But how did he know my name and I didn't get to know his before now?"

After an hour the Carriage stopped at a Huge Palace. It was bigger than her Royal Palace and it was guarded with Iron walls. It protected the Palace during wars. She thought.
Prince Lorcan stepped out of the Carriage and walked to the other side she sat. He brought forth his hand. She never expected a man who was seen as the Demon to have treated her with respect.
She looked at his hand which was now in front of her. Lorcan tilted his head to his hand. she carefully placed her hands on his and he led the way.
The Palace was well guarded with Guards at the Entrance of the Palace and every wall in the Palace. They wore red and black robes. Their head was tied with red turban.
He held her hand and walked her through the walls of the Palace.
