"Stop crying Mother." Zik wiped the tears of her face with his tiny hand.
She nodded and went into the room where Reina was.
"You can come out now Your Highness." She whispered.
"Are they gone?" She asked looking around.
"Yes, but they suspected I knew something, you have to leave Your Highness, I'm certain they would come back here to search for you."
"Did they hurt you?." She looked down at Zik who was shivering with fear. He shook his head in response.
That night they stayed inside and had dinner. May was telling bed time stories to Zik so he would fall asleep, suddenly they heard a knock at the door. Reina ran inside to her hiding spot and May slowly walked to the door to open it.
Her hand was shaking as she held the doorknob, she opened the door to see Lorcan and Her husband.
"Where is My Wife?." His eyes swept the room.
"She's in the other room." She pointed then she went to hug her husband.
"They came, they threatened to kill us if they found out they were here, I'm scared." She cried on his chest as he rubbed her back with his hand and the other on her stomach.
Lorcan went into the room and called out her name.
"Reina." He called as he looked around but everywhere seemed empty.
"Lorcan?." Her eyes widened, she couldn't believe he was here.
"Lorcan!" She knocked from under the carpet .
"Where are you Reina?." He said looking around.
"I'm here, get me out." She hit the door really hard. He went to the carpet and opened the door, he saw her sad and sweaty face.
"Reina." She pulled her out and hugged her not wanting to let her go.
"You're safe." He kissed her head.
"They came, I'm so scared, take me away from here." Her eyes were teary.
"Yes,I came to take you far away from here. I'm so sorry I'm not being able to protect you." He lowered his gaze.
"I'm glad you came as fast as you did, I was already going crazy thinking that they had held you captive." She cried more.
"Don't cry, I'm here now" He wiped the tears off her face.
"Our horses are outside, it's time to leave I don't think they are here. They must have returned back to the palace."
"What's this?." She saw a fresh cut at his neck.
"Its.. I just had a cut that's all, come on." He held her hand and helped her got on the horse.
"I'll come back, no need to be scared, they won't hurt you cause we'll be so far away from this kingdom." He assured May.
"Be strong My Boy." He squatted talking to Zik.
"Would you be coming back? Zik asked.
"Yes, but first I need to take The Highness to safety after which I'll come back. Be strong for your sister." He pointed to May's stomach.
"No! My brother, I don't want a sister Father!." He frowned.
"Alright then, Your brother, be strong for your mother and brother okay?." He smiled.
"You heard that brother? We have to be strong for mother." He spoke to the Stomach and they all smiled except Lorcan, he was so lost in thought and his face was serious than ever.
Why wouldn't it when his life and that of his precious wife was in danger?.
"We need to leave." He turned to Mathew and May hugged him then they proceeded.
"Where are we going now?." Reina asked worriedly. They were out in the middle of the night with light torches, she was scared that an animal or someone might attack them.
"Kingdom of Agrah." Lorcan replied and for a moment she felt she had heard that name Agrah before.
"Are you okay?." He rode slowly.
"I just feel bad that we have to go through all of this Your Highness."
"I knew it would all happen Reina, my brothers are evil. I don't expect us to be alike cause we're from different mothers but Lysander and Theodore are no different. They would kill themselves in no time, that I'm certain."
"They would?." She asked.
"Yes, there would always be one king to rule a kingdom and not two, from what i know Lysander doesn't give up easily. He loves the throne more than his own life."
"What kind of men were they?. They would kill each other all because of a throne??"she wondered why Lorcan wasn't after the throne like his brothers.
"You are not fighting for the throne, are you?." She asked resting her head on his back and holding his chest tightly.
"No."
"Why? Don't you want to be king?." She asked confused.
"I don't see the need to rule the kingdom Reina but I wouldn't let Theodore either."
"Why?." She asked.
"He won't make a good king."
"And how about you, would you make a good king?."
"I don't know. It all depends on what the people wants." He halted.
"Hold on to me tight." He said to her and his face became serious as he starting riding fast.
Reina looked back to see if they were being chased by someone but no they weren't. There were about seven horses behind them and those were Lorcan's men. She let out a sigh of relief knowing that they were safe.
Suddenly he slowed down. "We are in the Kingdom of Agrah, they would never find us here." He got of the horse and stretched his arms lifting Reina.
"Careful." He gently kept her to her feet. She looked around to see if she would find any houses around but everywhere was just quiet., she turned to Lorcan who was now smiling at her.
"Why are we here?." She asked looking at the beautiful place. They were at a river place, it was such a good view, the stars were shining bright. She had always wished for her and her Prince Charming to cuddle under the moonlight and here was it.
Lorcan held her from behind and she felt uncomfortable cause his men were right behind them.
(Cough.) He waved his hand asking them to leave and that they needed privacy.
They went to the river in front and sat on the grass. Some laid while some of them sat looking at the sky. The cool air was so fresh and cold, and it all suit the scene. She loved the way he held her like a protective and caring husband.
She must say he's such a good husband, he treated her with much care, he was so gentle and his touches made her want to pee.
