Chapter 2 - Chapter 2

Nicole's POV

Sunday morning, everyone in black including me, I could not even raise my face and my smile was upside down it was a sunny day with birds chirping and flowers blooming.

Evie would have given anything to see this day.

Evie would have given anything to see this day. Everyone came including our grandparents. The family filed into vehicles where the driver loaded the hoarse with numerous roses

Evie loved roses, they were red, she loved everything red. As the service was ongoing. Everyone was asked to exchange thoughts with the deceased.

The atmosphere was not only looking gloomy but it felt gloomy, even for me. everywhere you looked like they were no smiles.

A tear rolls into itself Nicole's eye, overflows and drips down her damp cheek, falls to the ground, blends in with the rain.

The look in her exhausted eyes could break anyone's heart. She cries silently, her eyes puffy and red. It's the kind of cry only seen at funerals, only felt at funerals.

The kind where the tears aren't alive, but lifeless, and the death of the loved one seems surreal. The kind where the crier pushes away the grief, the overwhelming sadness of the loss.

Her mother's arm is wrapped around her tight, holding her close in the rain. Her other hand holds the black umbrella over their heads, keeping them dry.

Her worn eyes watch the grave in front of them, a look in her eyes saying "its not your fault" and "she will always be in our hearts," the disapproval of her deceased child harsh.

Sorrow creeps at the corners of Nicole's mouth, dragging them down, jerking the tears. But he holds them back.

There are no tears. She cannot lose her dignity. If he cries, her mother will lose it. She holds it. For her.

They wore black. A long black dress hangs at the mother's ankles and a suit on the husband.

In Nicole's mind, it's sad. Nothing more, nothing less. It wasn't just her sister. It was her best friend also.

Nobody lives forever. All there is that's left is her mother, father and the rest Of her family. This one died. That's it. That's all.

Surrounding the grave in a semi-circle, guests hang their heads and a few sobs. Teachers and parents, family and friends all wear black. Some carry flowers and place them gently in front of the headstone.

The only sound is the pastor chime of a church bell somewhere in the distance, echoing across the graveyard to tell them it's six o'clock. Its melancholy tune only depresses the situation.

There aren't many guests. The small family is always busy, not many people came. Everyone knew the child.

And, with flowers in front of the headstone and the words said, the funeral ends. They walk away in the rain, slowly, despite the chill wind and water.

They walk through the other graves, treating them as if they were meaningless, just another dead body six feet under. The mother and husband give one last goodbye, from her a sad weep, from him a bitter farewell. The child's teachers don't cry. The neighbours bury their faces in their hands. The child's friends still don't believe their eyes.

Soon the only person remaining is a Nicole

She wears a dark shirt and tie, creased skirt, everything is too big for her like it was borrowed from an older sibling. He holds no umbrella, her wet ash hair clings to his head. In her hand, he grips a single white rose, droopy with rain. Its petals are almost wilted. He lifts it to his eyes, looks at it, and takes the steps to the grave.

He places the rose softly on the headstone, kneels, ignoring the wet grass. A true look of sadness crosses her eyes, but no tears come. Her lips move, just above a whisper.

"I'm sorry," she says to the grave. "I'm sorry about what happened, I didn't expect…" she pauses as if awaiting an answer. "Your mom is crying her eyes out over you, Evie. If only you could see this." As he talks, hysteria builds in his voice. "We miss you. We cared about you, and now you're dead. If only you could feel this." she places her hand on the headstone's face, traces the words with his finger. He sighs. "It hurts. What happened was wrong. You need to live."

She shakes his head, holding back the tears. She's talking to a grave. She's lost it. Looking down at the ground, she says, "You shouldn't be here. I should be," And stands. The rose hangs over the edge.

Nicole walks backward, still watching the grave. "I'm sorry," she says. "If only we could rewind time. I'll see you soon," she adds, almost unsure, words tasting strange in his mouth. "See you up there." she nods upwards, referring to the special place.

And he leaves, the words looming over the grave. I can't tell him to stop. I can't do anything. She just leaves, trudging her feet in the grass, turns the corner, disappears.

Even the seats were not comfortable Nicole has to go home and come back to my mansion she misses my home so much but she still felt sad inside her heart like she just lost my half.

Evie, my half is dead, just like that, it doesn't make any sense, I can't lose her this way

She made her way out of the session

Nicole's POV

The only person now that supposed to be cheering me up for supposed to be my twin sister but since she is not here I guess the next person on my mind is my boyfriend, George

George has been my boyfriend ever since I went to Paris to study he has always been there for me even though I wasn't there in Los Angeles now that I am back for the past two years I guess it's time for me to see him. I miss him so much

His parents were at the funeral but his mum said that he is at home doing some special work

I took a cab, gave directions to the driver and told him to go to the next mansion in the opposite street, I got there I knocked on the door but no one answered, I tried and tried and tried but no one answered

"Why am I knocking when I can just surprise him"

I said in my thought

The door was unlocked and I entered, I walked to the living room first but the place was empty then I decided to go upstairs to surprise him.

"I can't wait to see him, I need him to cuddle with me"

I said happily

So I went up to his room and knocked on the door several but no one answered then I realise that his door was unlocked

I barge inside the room and I couldn't believe what I saw,

He was having sex with a bitch and sweating profusely.

"George!!" I screamed his name loudly and immediately he turned back with his jaw opened

George POV

I can't take this anymore.

it's been a long time since I saw Nicole and after two years that she came back she didn't even come and see me first well I don't blame her, her sister just died and she needs to visit her family.

I need her so much and I'm hórny, I try to watch pórnographic movies but it made my hórniness worst

I tried to call Nicole but no answer, she may still be at the funeral service

Ugh, I'm gonna lose it

I can't take this anymore, I need to have sex with someone

Immediately I thought of an idea, there is a bitch I met in the bar, she has always wanted to sleep with me but I didn't let her then and the good thing is that I have her number

Should I call her now?

Maybe I should...

Yes, I should...

I called her and send her my home address since my parents went to that useless funeral, I guess am free

After 30 minutes, the bitch came and entered my room

"Hi hottie"

she said biting her lips

Wow, she came fast

"Let's get this over with, I have no time"

I said

"Sure baby I've been waiting for this moment"

She said removing her clothes and standing naked in front of me

She walked towards me seductively, pushed me towards the bed and brushed her lips to mine

She tasted like candy...

I couldn't take it anymore, I took a hold of her bréàsts and súcked it licking the ñïpplé

"Oh"

She moaned slightly

Suddenly, I heard someone opening the door, didn't the bitch close the door earlier?

"George!!!" I heard someone screaming my name and the voice sounds familiar

Immediately, I look behind me and saw Nicole crying.

" Holy shit," I said releasing my cow from the bitch ass hole.
