It was not after dinner that Willa and others returned. Samuel wasn't there to greet them, they were taken straight to their quarters where others were waiting for them. Polina and Irina were angry but seeing that their friend wasn't hurt, their fury calmed down a little.
They still blamed Willa for being so impulsive despite their repeated warnings. It was the same for others, they were too hasty to leave the protection of Samuel to think that others would treat them the same.
Maria and her group already went to bed and they thought it wasn't their place to say anything to the returnees.
