Early morning, Samuel got up carefully making his way out of the bed. Last night was insane but fortunately, they did things in moderation. He admired Adele and Kate's sleeping figure before heading for a quick shower.
He dressed up in casual clothes before heading downstairs to fix something to eat. It was too quiet and he didn't find Nicole as her room was locked. It was understandable with how drunk everyone was last night.
Right as he was about to head outside, he felt the temperature dropped a lot last night. There was a layer of frost outside covering the vegetation around the cottage. It was right around the time for the first snow and he could feel it wasn't long before it would happen.
He covered himself up and went for a walk. Their retreat was in a remote location right beside the sea but just hundred or so meter ahead, there was a college campus. The small town was beside a major city which meant the foot traffic was not small.
