SHARI disguised herself so he could drop by the chapel to see Howie Cheng's wake. She wore a short blonde wig and big round eyeglasses paired with a black face mask, making sure she was unrecognizable. Lei was with her, and they agreed that once Bien arrived, they would leave. He was against the idea of coming here, but Shari wanted to check on Hyrum to see if he was okay.
They found Hyrum inside, wearing a white suit. It seemed he was preoccupied standing on the side, staring directly at the urn where a portrait of his father was placed above it. Yellow chrysanthemums were all over the place, and countless guards were outside to ensure tight security, especially since they expected VIPs to come.
"My condolences, young master Hyrum," Lei said. He lightly arched his head down.
Hyrum scoffed. "I hated him. I've never stopped hating him. But he is still my father. What a loss that he didn't see me climb the top of the very thing that killed him."
