A MEETING was held secret in one private residence in Cebu, where a representative from the seven families attended. Oliver Chua, the thirty-year-old only son of Oscar Chua, facilitated it.
The Chua family oversaw the large-scale human trafficking in the country, and it had become a lucrative business for them. However, Oliver grew tired of being just a mere lapdog of the infamous Zhao Clan, ruling the organization in the Philippines.
"You know this is rebellion, Oliver. You're getting all of us killed!" One of the men inside the conference room snapped. It was Christian Shen.
"Chris has a point, Oliver. This is an uprising, and you put the seven families' life at stake," said August Chan. He and Christian were close friends since their families were in charge of all the operations in the Visayas Region. Both were unhappy with how their old folks ran the business.
