THE humid temperature inside the room and the unpleasant smell of the cigarette made it harder for Shari to concentrate on Levi. After removing his coat, she was still in panic despite the courage she gathered. But Levi's assuring gaze made her believe they'd survive this ordeal.
When Shari held his belt to unbuckle it, Levi gently held her hand. "Let me ask you again. Are you sure?"
She tilted her head. "I've never been this sure."
Shari meant it. She began to unzip his pants. Meanwhile, Levi could not stand her tensed face, so he pulled her closer and met her lips.
It was at this moment Shari found her focus and tried to forget the situation they were in. She removed Levi's shirt and tossed it to the side. She could see him giving furtive glances to the men around, checking if they were distracted enough to hold their weapons down, but everyone was still alert while watching them, enjoying the show.
