A year later…
The morning sun cast a warm glow over the Water Section as Ryoma Nozomi, the current leader of the S.I.D., made his way towards Hasake's home. With a gentle knock on the door, he woke him up from his sleep.
Hasake while slumped, opened the door, rubbing his eyes in disbelief.
"Ryoma?! What brings you here so early?"
Ryoma smiled warmly, his eyes filled with pride as he looked at Hasake.
"I wanted to speak with you, Hasake. Get ready and walk with me."
Curiosity piqued, Hasake hastily got dressed and joined Ryoma. They then start walking.
As they walked side by side, Ryoma's voice carried a paternal tone.
"Hasake, I've watched you grow into an incredibly strong Disciple for someone your age. Your dedication, skill, and potential are more than above aberage. By the time you become a Shorai, you will be strong enough for many opportunities available."
Hasake glanced at Ryoma, a mix of surprise and gratitude in his eyes.
"Thank you, Ryoma. It means a lot coming from you. But, why are you saying all this now?"
Ryoma's tone has now become more serious.
"Because…well….we've found your brother."
"Really? How is he?"
"Unfortunately, he's in S.I.D custody. And we can't let him out."
"Why not?! What did he do?!"
"It's not about what he's done. It's about, what he's become. He has something that makes him very dangerous."
"Let me see him Ryoma! Now!"
"No. I can't! He's dangerous. You can't go near him."
"Okay. Then at least tell me what makes him so dangerous."
Ryoma sighs. They both stop running.
"Distorted aura."
