It's been a while since the fight. But Kuragami, Cedric and Diana have been close for the whole time.
They've had many fun moments together. However inside Cedric, there's still lingering hatred for Kuragami inside him.
Everytime them three were together, it felt like he was always third wheeling Kuragami and Diana. So one day, he just snapped.
Cedric walks up to Kuragami by himself.
"What's up Cedric?"
"What makes you better than me Kuragami?"
"Huh?"
"I mean it makes no sense. Why is Diana closer to you?"
"What? Where is all this coming from?"
"I need to prove that I'm better than you!"
Kuragami starts to get angry.
"If your not gonna tell me where this is coming from then let's just settle it right now! Me and you!"
"Fine! But we're gonna do things a little different!"
"Different how?"
"Meet me tomorrow at dawn. At the bottom of Mount Cresta."
"Mount Cresta?"
"Yeah! Be there. And also. I'm telling everyone that a showdown between me and you is happening there. So don't back out!"
"Never!"
With that being said, Kuragami would have to face Cedric in Mount Cresta. To prove which one of them is better.
It's the next day. Many girls and boys are gossiping about the Mount Cresta challenge.
The Mount Cresta challenge is a traditional challenge in Yotr.
Diana hears about it so she goes with everyone to Mount Cresta to watch.
Kuragami and Cedric are both there in front of everyone. Diana makes it to the front. Kuragami sees her and looks at her for a few seconds. Then puts his focus back to Cedric.
"So what is this Mount Cresta Challenge?"
"Simple. Me and you-"
Cedric points at the top of the mountain.
"Will race to the top of the mountain."
"Easy. Let's not waste any time and start them."
The crowd is shocked at Kuragami's confidence.
"Fine!"
"3!"
"2!"
"1!"
"Go! Go! Go!"
Kuragami and Cedric both start running up and climbing the mountain.
Many obstacles are in their way. But Cedric's wind and Kuragami's ice allows them to go past the obstacles.
So far the race is even, however Kuragami keeps taunting Cedric.
"This is all you got? I'm not even trying Cedric."
"Fine! Watch this!"
Cedric raises his aura. He generates a lot of wind which makes him fly up high into the sky.
"Cedric you idiot! Your not even close to the mountain!"
"Oh no!"
Cedric then starts falling. Kuragami uses his ice to try catch Cedric, but he misses.
"Oh no! Cedric!"
Kuragami jumps off the mountain and catches Cedric.
Now they're both falling.
"We're gonna die Kuragami!"
But luckily, Yuma comes out of nowhere and creates a ice slide so that they both can slide down safely.
Yuma jumps down to them.
"Mount Cresta challenge huh? You guys are young. It's too dangerous for you guys to be doing that."
"Tell Cedric that. I didn't want to do this! But he's too eager to prove himself."
"Is that true Cedric?"
Cedric puts his head down.
"You guys don't need a stupid challenge like that to prove yourselves."
"Yeah?"
"Of course. If you really want to prove yourselves, become stronger together. We're in the Disicple World for gods sake! Aim for the top!"
