Kuragami gets up.
"Who the hell are you!"
"I'm Kyoya Kojiki! And do well to remember that name!"
"Kyoya Kojiki huh?! So tell me why the hell would you punch me in the face?!"
"Why you ask? Because I want to fight you. No aura, straight hand to hand!"
"He wants to fight? Hand to hand? Judging by the punch he done to me, he's no joke."
"Let me tell you this though, you have no choice!"
In the desolate alleyway, Kuragami and Kyoya faced each other, their gazes filled with raw hostility. They were strangers, driven by their own personal motives, and there was no trace of friendship that can bridge the gap between them. Kyoya's friends stood at a distance, watching with the feeling of excitement.
Without a word, Kyoya launched himself at Kuragami with a ruthless and relentless assault. His strikes were fueled by a cold determination, devoid of any sense of mercy or restraint. Kuragami, taken aback by the ferocity of the onslaught, struggled to defend himself against Kyoya's unyielding barrage.
Kyoya's punches and kicks rained down upon Kuragami, each blow carrying a bone-crushing force. Kuragami, in a desperate attempt to protect himself, blocked and evaded as best he could, but his movements lacked the finesse and training of his merciless opponent.
The alleyway became a blur of motion, echoing with the sounds of grunts and impacts. Kuragami's body bore the brunt of Kyoya's unrelenting assault, bruises forming and blood trickling from his wounds. His friends, filled with concern and disbelief, could only watch helplessly from the sidelines.
Despite the pain and weariness, Kuragami refused to yield. Anger surged within him, pushing him to fight back against his merciless opponent. Summoning every ounce of strength he could muster, he launched a few desperate counterattacks, hoping to catch Kyoya off guard.
But Kyoya was unyielding. He deflected Kuragami's strikes effortlessly, his cold eyes fixed on his target. With a swift and calculated move, Kyoya struck Kuragami with a crippling blow, a knee connecting with Kuragami's abdomen. Kuragami crumpled to the ground, gasping for air, the pain radiating through his body.
Kyoya stood over his fallen opponent, his face devoid of emotion. There was no remorse, no hint of regret. He had accomplished what he set out to do—to defeat his adversary and assert his dominance. The alleyway was now a testament to the one-sided brutality that had unfolded within its confined space.
As Kyoya's friends approached, their expressions filled with a mix of awe and concern, they couldn't help but feel a sense of unease. The fight had taken a dark turn, devolving into a one-sided display of ruthlessness. They couldn't comprehend the animosity that had driven Kyoya to such extreme measures, nor could they understand the pain that Kuragami had endured.
Kuragami struggled to rise, his body battered and his spirit shaken. The alleyway seemed to narrow around him, the weight of his defeat crushing his hopes and aspirations. Though they had never known each other, the encounter had left an indelible mark on both boys, a painful reminder of the harsh realities that life could present.
As Kyoya's friends offered a hand to the fallen Kuragami, their eyes reflected a mix of respect and concern. In this ruthless battle, the bond of friendship had never existed, and the scars left behind would take time to heal, if they ever could. The alleyway, now devoid of any sense of victory or triumph, bore witness to the wreckage caused by the blind pursuit of power.
However, with his aura, Kuragami pushes them away.
The sun turns to a direction to where it makes the alleyway covered by a shadow.
"You're not done Kuragami?!"
Kuragami desperately stands up.
"Let my soul be one with yours!"
Kuragami uses Ice Coating as a last resort.
"Oh so is this what we're doing now?! This has gotten exciting!"
Kyoya also uses his Shadow Coating.
They both dash to each other with their fists balled. Their punches collide and creates a aura clash.
The impact of their collision was tremendous. Waves of raw power emanated from the point of contact, distorting the very air around them. Sparks of energy crackled and danced, creating a mesmerizing display of lights. The alleyway trembled under the strain of their combined forces, walls vibrating as if unable to contain the immense power unleashed.
Kyoya's aura, charged with the essence of absorbing shadows, swirled around him in a dark and captivating maelstrom. It fed off the darkness within the alley, fueling his strength with each passing second. As his aura intensified, it engulfed Kuragami's icy aura, threatening to overpower it with its consuming darkness.
But Kuragami, though initially taken aback, refused to be outdone. Drawing upon the depths of his ice powers, he summoned a blizzard of frost and snow to fortify his aura. The freezing cold emanating from his being clashed against Kyoya's consuming darkness, creating an ethereal dance of contrasting elements.
Their struggle continued, a mesmerizing display of opposing forces. Kyoya's absorbing aura fought relentlessly, attempting to smother Kuragami's icy presence. Shadows flickered and writhed, enveloping Kuragami's frosty aura in an attempt to nullify its power.
Yet Kuragami, determined and resilient, pushed back with unwavering resolve. His icy aura grew stronger, radiating a brilliant blue light that pierced through Kyoya's shadowy onslaught. The frigid gusts of his power howled through the alley, freezing the very air and encasing the shadows in shimmering ice.
The clash reached its climax, the air heavy with anticipation. Both Kyoya and Kuragami poured their hearts and souls into the battle, their auras raging against each other with unmatched intensity. Each moment held the promise of victory or defeat.
And then, with a surge of energy that seemed to echo through the alley, Kyoya's absorbing aura surged forward, overpowering Kuragami's icy defenses. The shadows coalesced, converging upon Kuragami's aura like a suffocating veil.
As Kuragami's icy aura waned, a look of determination flashed across Kyoya's face. The shadows consumed the last remnants of Kuragami's resistance, leaving him momentarily defeated. The alley fell silent, the only sound the gentle rustle of the shadows dissipating into the air.
Kyoya stood before Kuragami, his victorious aura still crackling with energy.
"He absorbed shadows and became stronger. He must be a-"
Kyoya walks up to Kuragami and grabs his head. They're now eye to eye.
"This won't be the last time we meet each other. I'll make sure I kill both you, and that traitor Yuuto!"
Kuragami is shocked.
"Yuuto?! Traitor?! So he is!"
Kyoya let's go of his head.
"We released a lot of aura. So someone definitely sensed it and is coming. This is my time to leave. See ya later, Kuragami Nozomi!"
Kyoya and his friends vanish in the shadows.
A few moments later, Kiyoshi appears.
"Kuragami! Who done this to you?!"
"I think they were Shadow Disciples. They're gone now though. We don't have to worry about them. Plus they were about my age."
"I see."
Kiyoshi picks him up.
"Well let's get you some medical attention."
Kiyoshi brings Kuragami to a hospital. Kuragami will be fine. By the time he got to the hospital, he was already healed.
Both Kuragami and Kiyoshi are now walking together.
"Hey Kiyoshi. So the Shadow Disciples are serious about coming for me then?"
"Yeah. You have to keep your guard up. Plus, you've gotten a lot stronger. Your whole team has. So-"
"So what?"
They both stop walking.
A pink haired girl in a beautiful dress walks from behind Kuragami. She has a butler next to her. Kuragami looks back at them.
"I picked your team plus two other people to help at my kingdom."
"No way!"
"Long time no see, Kuragami!"
The pink haired girl has an uncontrollable smile.
Kiyoshi interrupts them.
"Kuragami. After the mission with her, I'll teach you how to use Kyanseru."
"Kyanseru?!"
"Yeah. I'm gonna let you guys be now but before I leave, I'll tell you this just in case you face someone with Kyanseru.
"What is it?"
"Coating is a good resistance to it."
An hour has passed and everyone goes back into Danketsu Hall. It's now Kuragami's turn to say some words for his dad. Kuragami got a new suit since his last one was ripped up due to the fight.
Kuragami goes up on stage with Sayo and Hasake. He gets nervous so he looks back at Sayo. She mouths,
"You got this."
He looks back at the crowd and clears his throat. There's many cameras around him.
"Ladies and gentlemen, family, and friends,
Today, we gather here not only to bid farewell to a man who was my father but also to acknowledge the absence of another integral figure in our lives. My name is Kuragami Nozomi, and I stand before you today, with a heavy heart, to honor the memory of my father and to speak about the complicated relationship we shared with my older brother, Yuma Nozomi.
My father possessed extraordinary powers over ice, making him one of the most revered and powerful individuals in the world. He dedicated his life to protecting the innocent and upholding justice, leaving an indelible mark on those he encountered. Yet, his passing has not only left a void in our hearts but also exposed the complex dynamics within our family.
My brother Yuma, once an integral part of our lives, was exiled following our father's death. It is with a mixture of sorrow and regret that I address this complicated matter today. I speak not only of my own personal loss but of the pain that this separation has inflicted upon our family.
While I cannot pretend to comprehend the entirety of his choices, I believe that there is value in acknowledging the complexity of our familial relationships. It is not my intention to pass judgment, but rather to highlight the importance of compassion, forgiveness, and understanding.
As I stand here today, I realize that my memories of him are filled with stories shared by others, with tales of his courage and selflessness. I regret that I never truly had the opportunity to know him as a son should know his father. Yet, through the stories and testimonies of those whose lives he touched, I have come to understand the immense impact he had on the world.
My father's powers were not limited to the realm of ice; they extended to the hearts and minds of those who encountered him. His kindness, compassion, and unwavering sense of justice inspired others to strive for a better world. He was a guiding light, a beacon of hope for countless individuals who felt lost in the darkness.
Today, we mourn the loss of a man who carried the weight of responsibility on his shoulders, who dedicated his life to protect and uplift others. But let us also celebrate his life and the indelible mark he left on this world. His legacy lives on not only in his incredible powers but in the lives he touched and the hearts he influenced.
As we gather here today to honor our father's memory, let us remember the values he instilled in us. Let us strive to find common ground and heal the wounds that have divided us. Our father's legacy calls upon us to embrace unity, to extend forgiveness, and to seek reconciliation, even in the face of pain and conflict.
To my brother Yuma, I extend an open hand, a gesture of hope for a future where we can overcome any hardships that get in our way from being brothers. Though our paths may have diverged, the blood that runs through our veins connects us inextricably. I implore you to reflect upon our father's teachings, to rediscover the essence of compassion and justice that he championed.
As we bid farewell to our father today, let us also recognize the importance of family, of forgiveness, and of love. Together, we can honor his memory by embracing the principles he held dear, by working towards understanding, and by fostering unity within our own hearts and amongst ourselves.
Thank you for your presence here today and for allowing me to share these sentiments. May our father's soul find eternal peace, and may we, as a family, find the strength to heal and forge a path of unity and reconciliation.
Thank you."
Most of the crowd, including Chery and Hoshiko were left in tears after that speech. They all clap and comfort Kuragami.
Kuragami finished his funeral experience with a beautiful farewell speech to his father, Ryoma Nozomi.
