"It actually is a big octopus!"
Kuragami jumps back on his feet. He looks around once again.
"Don't tell me these two got scared?"
Kuragami laughs.
"It seems like it's just me and you, big fat octopus!"
"Kosokuoc!"
Kuragami looks around.
"Who said that?!"
"Kosokuoc!"
Kuraagami looks around again. No one is there. He then looks up at the beast.
"My name is Kosokuoc! The Immortal Beast of The Light!"
"WHAT???!!!!"
Kuragami is shocked.
"IT'S MOUTH DIDN'T MOVE!!!! HOW ARE TOU SPEAKING DEVIL?!"
"Through transference."
Kuragami then realises.
"Oh! Your telepathic! Makes sense, Kosokuoc. Now I'm going to have to beat your ass!"
"Come and try!"
Kosokuoc raises his aura. The aura can be felt from islands beyond Wariko. Kuragami raises his aura too. He creates his Blessed Arm.
Kosokuoc lifts up one of his tentacles. Within one swing, easily faster than Jericho's top speed, it sends destruction to the whole country ahead. Kuragami is now unable to be seen. Has he been blown away by the destruction?
Suddenly, Kosokuoc senses 3 powerful aura sources in the sky. He looks up. Hasake, Kiyoshi and Kuragami are falling down like 3 aura beams combined into one. Kuragami is leading with his Blessed Arm. The other two are powering him up with his aura.
"Hey Kuragami! Name this technique! It makes us look way cooler."
"Okay cool. Um, how about-"
They power up even more.
"Blessed Scorch's Glacier!"
The technique impacts directly at Kosokuoc's head. It punches him down creating a large crater in the ground. Hasake, Kiyoshi and Kuragami all land safely. The Blessed Arm is still intact.
Kosokuoc's head is stuck in the ground.
"Hey you two! It was speaking in my head. It's telepathic. It said it's an 'Immortal Beast'. Does that mean we can't kill it?"
"Yeah. There's many immortal beasts out there. They all can't be killed. Only suppressed. Which is what we're going to do. Suppress Kosokuoc by collecting Jericho in its core."
Kuragami nods his head. He looks at the core. He feels fear.
The ground starts rumbling below them. Cracks start forming.
"Oh no."
The three of them start to lose balance. It's light aura starts beaming out of the cracks. Then suddenly, the whole ground falls apart.
Kosokuoc jumps out the ground and raises his aura. The tips of the tentacles are surrounded by a certain energy.
"You sense that don't you Hasake?"
"Yeah. You deal with it. I'll make sure Kuragami doesn't get touched."
Kiyoshi nods. He jumps up with his aura raised. His aura turns into inferno flames. Kiyoshi himself then fuses with his flames.
"Scorching Inferno Heatwave!"
The flames start to expand and cover the whole sky around them.
All 8 of Kosokuoc's tentacles light up. The aura on them raises drastically. They all point at different directions to the country.
As Kiyoshi is about to hit Kosokuoc, the tentacles shoot multiple large light beams towards the country in all directions. One of the light beams hit Kiyoshi directly.
Hasake looks up.
"This is bad. What if the Wariko people get hit by the beams?"
Kuragami thinks of an idea.
"Hey Hasake. Where did you take the people?"
"Somewhere east from here, why?"
"What if I make sure that they're safe. While you and Hasake deal with Kosokuoc."
"And how will you do that?"
Kuragami smiles.
"So no one has told you?"
"Told me what?"
Kuragami chuckles.
"Of my Heavenly Ice!"
Kuragami then runs east from where they are. Hasake watches him as he runs off. He smiles.
"He's grown so much Yuma. But I thought that 'Heavenly Ice' was just a rumour. Has he already awakened his ice? It can't be though. That's impossible. He doesn't have enough experience."
He looks up.
"Anyways, I need to make sure Hasake is ok."
He jumps up to help.
Kuragami is still running east. On the way, he sees inferno flames on the floor.
"Kiyoshi?"
He walks past all of them. In front of him lays injured S.I.D Disciples. The only one standing is a person holding a sword Infused with Inferno Flames.
Kuragami stops running.
"You're the same guy I saw with Jericho!"
The Inferno Swordsman looks at him.
"It's you."
The inferno flames intensify. Kuragami readies his Blessed Arm.
"I need to defeat you quick. There's people I need to protect."
They both dash to each other. The sword and the Blessed Arm clashes into an attack. Impact causes the swordsman to be pushed back.
Kuragami slaps the arm onto the floor.
"Enhanced Piercing Iceberg!"
Sharp ice starts releasing from the ground. The aura is more powerful and potent than normal. Plus there's a lot more ice. The Blessed Arm evaporates.
The swordsman jumps up. He swings his sword. Inferno flames go down to hit the ice. It does nothing to it.
"No way!"
In a instant, Kuragami appears behind him with his Coating activated. He punches him hard down into the ice. Impact causes the Ice to shatter and create a mini explosion.
And just like that, Kuragami defeated the Inferno Swordsman.
Kuragami lands right beside him. His Coating fades away. He feels a little tired but not too much since he only used it for a maximum of a second.
"There we go. I need to go now."
Kuragami suddenly gets an All Sight. It's a large light beam headed towards them.
Without thinking, he grabs the Inferno Swordsman and throws him out the way. He then jumps to the side with him.
Then a large light beam shoots past them.
"That was close. Now I have to go."
As soon as Kuragami starts running, he gets stopped due to the Inferno Swordsman grabbing him by the leg.
"Hey! What are you doing."
"Why…did you do that?"
"Because no one deserves to die. Especially not to their friend. He's your friend right?"
"Jericho is my friend yes. But that monster isn't. This isn't the first time it's happened. And I think he's afraid every time it happens."
"He is. How do you lot deal with it."
"We just let it go on a rampage until it gets tired. Jericho becomes sad after it happens. You know back in the day, his smile used to be genuine. Until, he took a dark path."
