As a 7 year old kid, Kuragami is running deep into a forest. The kid is wearing a blue shirt, orange shorts and white shoes.
He is quite quick and agile. He jumps and dashes from tree to tree.
As he goes deep in the forest, there starts to become less trees. He looks around as he runs. There's signs of destruction all around him. Waves of aura start to reach Kuragami. He follows the waves.
In a distance, there's two Ice Disciples. The waves are coming from their fight.
Kuragami gets closer and closer. He sees his older brother Yuma sparring with a kid the same age as him. They both have Ice Disciples armbands on. It seems that the other kid has the upper edge of him. The other kid also has a short blade on his side.
The climax of the battle is happening soon. Kuragami watches them as they fight.
"Yuma. Just give up."
"Never!"
Yuma jumps up high in the air. As he falls down he charges up an aura filled punch. As he shoot's his punch, the other kid dodges, kicks him up, jumps above him and two foots him to the ground.
Yuma hits the ground and destroys it with his fall. Kuragami starts to get worried. He runs up to him. He looks down at his older brother.
"Yuma. Are you ok?"
Yuma is conked out on the floor. The other boy lands next to Kuragami.
"Give him a few seconds Kuragami. That's 377-0 now Yuma."
Yuma suddenly wakes up and swiftly stands on his feet.
"No way I lost our last duel! Argh!"
"Last duel? Why won't you guys fight ever again. It's fun watching."
Both Yuma and the other boy look at each other.
"Kuragami, we're official Disciples now. We don't have time for these kiddy duels."
"But you lot look like you're having fun."
Yuma kneels down to him.
"We are. It's just time to move on. We have important responsibilities now."
"So then, does that mean we won't be able to see Hasake that much anymore."
"I will come see you guys sometimes. I mean I don't see you guys just to fight Yuma. We've had a lot of fun."
"Yeah like when we went to get our ball back from that crazy old lady and we had to run so fast from her son."
"Oh yeah! Then Yakone dropped so Hasake had to kick the ball at her sons face so we could pick him up and run."
The three of them laugh.
"How about the other time where you two had to fight that big fat Thunder Disciple that was 3 years older than me because he took my scarf."
"Yeah."
"We beat his ass and made him cry."
The three of them laugh.
"We've had some good times."
Both Yuma and Kuragami agree in unison.
"Look how time flies. One day we're kicking down other Disciples doors and running into Sayo's house to hide. And the next day, me and Hasake are Shorai and little Kuragami has grown so much."
Kuragami smiles.
"I'll miss you Hasake."
"Don't say that Kuragami. I'll make sure to send you many letters if I'm gone for a while."
Hasake pats his head.
Suddenly, both Yuma and Hasake hear movement in the forest around them. Yuma pushes Kuragami in between the both of them. Both Yuma and Hasake start circling around Kuragami to see where the movements coming from.
Hasake grips his blade in its holder.
"Yuma. I hear multiple people. There's a couple of them."
"Yeah. They must be weak though if they're hiding from a bunch of kids."
"We just had a fight though. So be careful. Make sure to keep your brother protected."
"You don't have to tell me twice."
Unexpectedly, a masked Disciple dashes towards Hasake with a sword. Hasake pulls out his blade and increases the aura in it. Both their weapons clash.
Yuma is about to help Hasake."
"YUMA! Stay there!"
Hasake smiles.
"You were right, they are weak."
Hasake easily overpowers him and pushes them back."
Hasake looks at the armband those guys are wearing.
"S.I.D? Why are you guys attacking us."
Yuma looks closely at the armband."
"S.I.D? Wait till my dad hears about this."
"I'm sorry, Yuma and Hasake. And you too Kuragami. Your aura was projecting to the city and we thought you were a danger."
"It's good."
"Yuma and Hasake. Leader Ryoma was looking for you two anyways."
Both the Shorai look at each other confused.
"Why?"
"I don't know. But come with us."
"Us?"
Many S.I.D Disciples come out from the shadows.
"Oh. That's us."
"Kuragami. One of us will escort you to Sayo's home while you wait for your dad and brother to come home."
"Ok."
One of the female masked Disciples put Kuragami on her back and takes him home. Yuma and Hasake go to the S.I.D Main Fortress.
Both Yuma and Hasake are sat down on a couch in a room inside the fortress.
"How long is my old man going to be?!"
"Be patient Yuma."
Yuma's dad walks in the room. He sits down on a chair in front of him.
"What's good dad?"
"So. Listen here you two. I know you guys just became Shorai. But…."
"But?"
"How would you two like it if you joined us at the S.I.D?"
Both Yuma and Hasake and shocked.
"Me and Yuma in the S.I.D? Why us?"
"It's no mistake that you two are the most strongest in your year. By a lot too. You guys also have very good chemistry together. It just makes sense for you to join. You can climb up the ranks very easily too."
"But dad! I have a 4 man team. I can't just leave them. Also my friends?! I would barely be able to see them. In fact, I'll never be able to see them."
"That's why it's totally up to you to decide. To be honest I don't expect you to join because there's a lot you have to consider. But Hasake you on the other hand are a solo team. You also refused to join another team so I think this is the perfect opportunity for you."
Hasake takes a long time to think.
"Hasake?"
Yuma looks at him."
"Yeah?"
"If you join, I'll join. We're best buds for life remember?"
"Yeah I remember."
"So it's up to you. Should we join?"
There's a long pause. Hasake finally stands ups with an answer.
"Mr Nozomi. I would like to join the S.I.D."
Ryoma smiles."
"Perfect."
