Genko takes a large step back. Kuragami is relieved.
"Phew, that was close."
"Nah, it wasn't close. It was just as I planned.
"What?"
The Blessed Arm splits in half. The half of the arm that got cut off falls and evaporated as aura.
"WHAT?! THIS ARM GOT CUT JUST LIKE THAT!"
"Good job Genko. Kuragami, if you want to prevent the sword from getting cut, use the Heavenly Ice in the spots where it's about to get cut."
"Easier said than done Keikena. But I'll try."
Kuragami raises his aura in his right hand to reform the Blessed Arm.
"Come at me Genko."
"Be careful what you wish for kid."
Genko raises his aura and swiftly dashes at Kuragami one more time.
Kuragami tries to concentrate his Heavenly Ice into his Blessed Arm guessing where Genko is going to strike. But it's too late. Genko has already sliced the arm again.
Kuragami thinks to himself,
"Damm, he's too fast. I can't concentrate like this. Instead of playing defence, I should attack Genko. See how strong I am with this Blessed Arm."
Genko jumps back. Kuragami smiles.
"What you smiling at kid?"
"Get ready Genko."
"Huh?"
Kuragami regenerates his Blessed Arm. He then dashes at Genko like lightning. Kuragami can't be at his full speed since the Blessed Arm slows him down.
"What the hell!."
Genko gets ready to block Kuragami's attack. Kuragami raises the aura in his Blessed Arm to increase the strength and speed of the punch he is about to give.
Kuragami goes in for a forceful punch but Genko blocks it with his sword. The impact creates a large aura clash that blows through the whole area.
Kuragami shouts as he's trying his hardest to break through Genko's block. They both raise their aura throughout their body causing the aura clash to become even more powerful.
About 20 seconds pass and the fist of the Blessed Arm starts to glisten. Keikena notices it. Genko starts to feel weakened.
"This kid.. is.. no joke."
Kuragami finally breaks through Genko's block and gets a direct hit on him, leading to Genko flying away heavily injured.
Genko still finds a way to land on his feet.
"What the hell was that. While my sword was in contact with his arm, it felt like I was getting weaker. That kids aura is no joke man."
Keikena starts clapping.
"Great Kuragami, that's the first time you used your Heavenly Ice on command. Now that feeling you just had, remember it. And sooner or later, you will be able to master your Heavenly Ice."
"Yes sir. But Genko that's embarassing. How can you be Peace Hunter that gets overpowered by a rookie."
Kuragami starts laughing. Keikena also starts laughing.
"Don't get cocky, if I wasn't injured from before, I would easily kill you kid."
"Is that so?. Then tomorrow, let's get Ena to fully he you and me and you will have a one on one fight. If I win I get nothing but if you win you get to kill me and go free."
Keikena is shocked.
"What the hell are you doing Kuragami. You got to be joking! Your putting your life on the line in a silly one on one fight?"
Kuragami glares at Keikena. Keikena can see that Kuragami is serious about this. Keikena thinks he knows why he said what he said.
"I see. Fine. You up to that Genko?"
"That's very unfair on you kid. But us Peace Hunters don't fight fair. I'm up for it. It will be an easy kill after all."
"Well then that's settled. Keep charging at Kuragami while we wait for Ena to come."
Genko carries on charging at Kuragami. They do this for 2 hours straight until Ena came.
Kuragami asked for Genko to be fully healed and be taken care of until the duel. He also asked if he could go back to the gravity pressure training. Ena allowed it so now Kuragami is training his aura control.
"5, 6, 7, 8."
It's the next day and Keikena is preparing Kuragami for his fight with Genko. Ena walks up to Genko.
"Hey Peace Hunter. I should kill you right now but I won't. Instead, I'll give you a power boost. It's not for you, it's for the young man to push himself harder."
"That will be your biggest mistake. Mezame Angel. Because after I kill him, I'll be able to go free. And trust me I'll come back to haunt you."
"Yeah yeah whatever you say. He's no ordinary Shorai. He's a disciple destined to be one of the strongest."
Ena looks at Kuragami. She smiles. She thinks to herself.
"Does he even have a destiny?"
"Don't underestimate him Genko. It will only lead to your death. Same goes for anyone that underestimated him. Some people were smart enough not to."
"What people?"
Ena's smile fades away swiftly.
"I-it doesn't matter. Now I must talk to the young man."
Ena speed walks to Kuragami and Keikena.
"You ready?"
"Of course I am Keikena. I have a surprise for Genko."
Kuragami let's off a big smile.
"Keikena, when I went to collect Kuragami yesterday, he was on the floor out of stamina. He was more worn out than I have ever seen him."
"Then that must mean."
"Yeah."
"Alright Genko! Get ready for this beat down!"
"Your the one that's gonna get beat down kid!"
"Alright now before the fight you guys must-"
Ena is interrupted by Kuragami and Genko charging at each other.
"What the hell?! How dare you not listen to me. I am of the superior race!"
"Just let it go this one time Ena. You can see that Kuragami is pumped for this."
Genko charges his aura in his sword to make his attacks faster. He slashed at Kuragami. Kuragami jumps up to dodge it.
"That was close."
Kuragami raises aura in his hand and attempts to punch Genko while he's airborne. Genko barely makes it to block it with his sword and they start having a mini aura clash.
The clash causes the floor to break. Kuragami is overpowering Genko.
"What the hell! This kid was way stronger than he was yesterday! Impossible."
"It's something called training Genko. My hard work will help me prove that I'm the strongest Shorai."
The clash breaks with Kuragami getting a direct wind blowing punch to Genko's chest.
The punch causes spit to force it's way out Genko's mouth. It also pushes him back away from Kuragami.
Genko is struggling to get his breath back.
"While your adjusting your breathing. Watch this."
Kuragami stands straight, both arms straight down. He closes his eyes and spreads his aura around his whole body carefully.
"Let my soul be one with yours."
Keikena notices him saying that.
His body starts getting coated by his aura. The aura then fuses with the same aura the Heavenly Ice releases, but it's only little hints of it. A certain pattern surrounds his aura.
Keikena is shocked that he learnt coating that fast. Ena not so much.
"Look at him Keikena. He's finally done it."
Keikena keeps a straight face.
"I know what Ice Coating looks like. That's not Ice Coating."
Ena looks at Keikena.
"Get prepared Genko."
Kuragami dashes straight in front of him. It was as if he vanished and appeared straight at Genko's face.
"My eyes couldn't catch up to this kids movement. Who is this monster?"
Kuragami punches Genko at his chest again.
"I couldn't even see that punch."
Kuragami appears behind Genko and kicks the back of his right leg.
"He just dissapeared!"
Genko falls to his knees. Kuragami's coating form fades away.
"That takes quite a lot of my energy damm."
Kuragami tries to catch his breath.
"This fight isn't to show off my coating though. I need my Blessed Arm to progress."
Kuragami walks in front of Genko.
"You poor thing. You just had to trash talk the wrong person didn't you?"
"Fuck you kid!"
"You know before I thought, I shouldn't kill you. There's no point. But now I'm having so much fun. I'll send your family my condolences."
Kuragami starts laughing. Keikena doesn't seem impressed.
"Yuma, your brother is a monster."
Kuragami uses his blessed arm. The top of the fist starts glistening.
"See you in hell Kuragami!"
Kuragami smiles. He jumps up high in the air.
"Dammit. This arm is weighing me down. It's making me slower as well."
Kuragami then starts to fall charging up a punch with his giant Blessed Arm.
"Glistening Strike!"
The Blessed Arm and Genko reaches impact causing a large aura explosion covering the whole place blowing things everywhere.
The smoke around starts to fade away. Kuragami jumps out from the core of it. His Blessed Arm is gone.
"I done it guys. I beat him."
Genko is dead on the floor.
"You beat him but at what cost? Once you get your first kill, it changes you Kuragami!"
"Why are you mad at me? He was threatening Ena and tried to destroy the temple! I did what was right! Plus, my first kill will probably change me for the better."
"You don't know that."
"Yeah I do. People like him deserve to die. This is just one of many kills I will have in my life."
"The look on your face when he was on his knees. You looked happy. You looked like you was enjoying making him suffer. Now that you killed him, are you satisfied?"
"I'm satisfied that I made Ena more safe. Plus."
Tears start covering Kuragami's eyes. He starts to clench both his fists.
"If the person who killed my dad didn't show any mercy, give me one reason why should I!"
