The last time Michael cried was when he was ten years old. That was when he first found out about his father's affair and the existence of his half-brother. When that happened, he cried very hard about it. In the years that followed, he never cried again. He thought that he had forgotten how to cry. However, he found himself unable to control his emotions at this moment. He did not want to remain sober right now. If he did, he would be haunted by the thoughts of Wendy and Christian together.
He got back up on his feet, found his phone, and gave Mr. York a call. He instructed him, "Send some alcohol to my place."
Before he even hung up, his doorbell rang. When the door opened, Mr. York saw how wasted Michael looked and felt terrible about it.
