"Wendy Stewart, you were the one who cheated. Are you willing to lie about any and everything in the hope that I will agree to a divorce and that you can get together with Christian afterward?"
Michael was under the impression that Wendy was only trying to pin some of the blame on him so that he would agree to get divorced.
"We both know that I'm not lying about it, and you should know that best," said Wendy with a sneer. "Michael, even if I did cheat on you, you're no better than me. At least I'm willing to get divorced and give my blessing to you and Yvonne. What about you? Why won't you let me go and allow me to pursue my own happiness? Or do you want to have both me and Yvonne at the same time?"
Michael thought that Wendy was just spouting complete nonsense. "I already told you, I will never agree to this divorce," he said in a firm voice while gazing at Wendy. "I won't let you get what you want."
