"Mrs. Lucas, Mr. Lucas will soon be home," the maid said to Wendy respectfully. "He said that he'll be accompanying you on your walk."
"Alright," Wendy said as she nodded.
After that, Wendy helped Zen to the living room. They sat down on the couch and waited for Christian to return.
"Wendy, don't you see that Christian is really nice to you?" Zen said softly.
"Is that so?" Wendy mumbled softly.
Wendy did not think that was the case. She did not think that Christian stopped her from going out because he was worried about her safety. Rather, he wanted to keep her under his control.
She really wanted to go outside. If Christian went with her, he would be able to control her movements and distract her from thinking. What Wendy wanted the most now was for her memories to return. She wanted to know the truth.
There were many people in the living room, so Wendy did not say anything more to Zen.
A while later, Christian returned.
