"What did you say?" Todd sounded astonished. "You really regret your decision?"
"Yes, I regret it now!" Wendy's anger escalated. "Initially I agreed to be with you because I thought you understood me and could accept my past. But if you can't, then what is the point of us being together?"
"You're saying all this just because of Michael huh?" Todd pointed ahead of him as he continued to interrogate Wendy. "Did you realize you had feelings for him after seeing him today?"
"Don't bring others into this. I said it before, I..." Before Wendy could finish her sentence, Todd interrupted her. "You're already protecting and covering for him now?"
Todd was being very cooperative and did a good job in acting as the jealous boyfriend.
"There is no way we can communicate further." Wendy combed her hand through her hair and took a deep breath.
