"I can't help you if you don't tell me the truth." Grandmother stood up with the help of her cane.

In Grandmother's opinion, Winnie had landed herself in her current state partially because of her own doing even though Anthony had wronged her.

They had all tried to convince Winnie several times to divorce the man.

Now that Michael and Isabel were already so old, both of them knew very well the kind of person Anthony was.

The children would definitely not acknowledge him as their father when Winnie divorces him. But Winnie refused to get a divorce, which was what landed her in her current predicament.

Of course, Grandmother did not think that Anthony was right to cheat on Winnie. In fact, Grandmother was rather disappointed in her useless son.

It was a pity that she was already rather old and could not control what Anthony does.
