"Wendy, this child is?" Leah's greeting had raised many questions in Michael.
He knew that Jake was Wendy's child. But why was this little girl calling her mummy too?
Could it be that the boy that Wendy brought back to Lake City wasn't her child after all?
Instead, this little girl was her real daughter?
Or could it be Wendy had another child other than Jake? But looking at them, both seemed to be of the same age.
It couldn't be that Wendy got married and gave birth to another child immediately after Jake was born.
Michael was totally confused by what he was seeing.
Wendy smiled and carried Leah into her arms. She calmly explained, "This is Todd's daughter. She is also my goddaughter. Since young, she has been calling me 'mummy'. It has become a habit now. Am I right, Leah?"
Although Leah had no idea what Wendy was talking about, she nodded her head in agreement.
