"Grandmother..." Michael spoke up the moment the call went through.
"Michael, how is your relationship with Wendy now?" said Mrs. Lucas, who still missed Wendy very much. "When can I see her and my grandson?"
She already knew that Wendy had returned to Lake City with a child, and that Michael was indeed the biological father. Even though she did not understand what exactly had happened five years ago, she believed both Wendy and Michael.
Since her grandson had claimed that the child belonged to him, there was no doubt in her mind that the boy was a true descendant of the Lucas family. The truth was that Mrs. Lucas would never have suspected Wendy of cheating on Michael if she had not personally admitted it to her five years ago.
