Humanism is a philosophical attitude that puts human rights and values at the heart of its questions. Rediscovering the great texts of antiquity, the humanist movement affirms its faith in the capacity for knowledge possessed by humans. Humanism emphasizes the "three Ps": education, philosophy, and philology, and thus affirms the value of humanistic education (through language learning, for example) in monasticism. This movement takes place at the time of rebirth.
