As it's July now, we've rejoiced in the money we've earned.Smartly enough, We decided to buy the apartment building that Ellie lived in.The whole 10 apartments, it was a dying market due to only half of them being vacant.We've made the neighborhood go to shit to decrease its value.It went from 5 million to roughly 1.3 million, or let's say 1.5 million.With this, all six of us owned a piece of it but by this time we've made enough money we could have other kids around here do the dirty work for us.On occasion we'd intervene if there's another "Billy " problem, is why we called it.For now we just have Ellie's dad living here, some of the guys around the neighborhood we trust to maybe join the Club and the girl that helped us during the heist.We gave 200,000$ as expenses for Ron and others who helped, those two that took the fall, they'll be rewarded once they get out soon.Yep you heard that right, they pleaded guilty and the cop ID'd them but they'll get out by December.We're living like kings but are yet to see the bigger picture.
Ricky and James are at a bar alone, in a different part of town as they've went to celebrate James having a kid soon.Crazy fuck found some one dumb enough to have kids with, just at the age of 18, soon to be 19.Well it's just him and Ricky because the rest of us are at Ellies home, preparing a surprise baby shower.
Well the two of them were at this bar with a local gang that were also like us, trying to get their name out there.I could give a shit about em but they sure got my attention.It was July 23, Ricky and James were buying a round before they left as Ricky yelled "my boys gonna have a baby soon !" They all cheered him on as some men followed them out.
"You drive, I'm drunk …" says Ricky as James says "So am I …hehe …." He says as the men approach them.
"Aye you said you having a kid …" says one of the two men as James
"Yea pal, hopefully a boy, did you get your free shot, i paid for it …" he says as the man quickly pulls out a gun on Ricky and James.
"Christ don't be dumb now …" says Ricky as they both put their hands up.The guys felt angry as they punch Ricky, James tries to intervene and yells
"You son of a -" the man interrupts by aiming at James.
"Don't be stupid, you wanna see your baby right ? " he says as Ricky gets up and says
"It's alright Man, he hits like bitch either way, what y'all want ? Money ?" He says as the man now aims at Ricky and replies
"Yea, everything Cmon, even the watch …" he says as they slowly hand over a wad of cash and the rings they wore but Ricky won't give up his watch.
"Na not my watch, my uncle gave me this watch pal, you're not getting watch …" he says as the men get aggressive.
"Gimme the fucking watch !" He yells as Ricky explains
"Look you got at-least eight grand right here….this watch ain't with much…." He says as the man aims closer and says "give it over you dumb fuck !" He yells as now James sees a chance to disarm him as Ricky fights off the second guy.They scuffle as the man overpowers James to the ground as Ricky checked the other man to see a gun in his jacket pocket.He Aims the gun at the man's head as they're both at a stand off.
"You put yours down and I put my down, you take the eight grand and you call it a good score, alright ?" asks Ricky as James says "forget it, kill em both Ricky boy !" He yells on the ground as Ricky says "shut up, aye look at me, take the deal and pray to god I forget this every happened…" says Ricky as the man breaths in heavily as he tho is it over on the spot until he friends says
"Just say yes man, I don't wanna fucking die !" He says as Ricky adds on "you see, nobody's gotta die…." He says as the man lowers his gun.
Ricky wasn't playing by this time, we've all been made well.We care nothing about killing, we just care about doing it.
"Alright, I'll take the-" he says until Ricky interrupts him by shooting him dead.He then quickly shot the man he had hostage, he bleeds out as James got up and took the dead mans gun.They looked down on the man who's bleeding out as they took their things back.
"Ah Christ you gave us a deal…" he says as Ricky says "yea but I wasn't talking to him…." He says as he throws the wad of cash at the man.
"Now let anyone you know that the 19 clubs out here and they're lucky we don't charge em just for being in our presence …. You fuck …." Says Ricky as they walk to their car and leave the man in the ground bleeding and in pain.He sobs as the two drove back to Ellie's home.
You see I don't mention much of our past lives before our first robbery but we always lived like dogs.We always had enough to at least visit the cinema once a week but we didn't have the type of money to get cars as a birthday present like some kids do in the movies.Now we got the money to feel like Capone, along with the boys paying there end every month now we lived great.But our only downfall is the respect still, we got our name out there in our neighborhood but now we're getting it with other little crews around.What Ricky did today got us elected into a bunch of trouble soon, we're about to get humbled soon.
Just like Capone and the whole story with the black book, not the Epstein one.We've been in a book of this cities own with other little gangs who had it out for us.For now ad we're celebrating the baby shower for James as he entered the apartment building and entered Ellie's home.His fathers sleeping casually as we surprised him outta nowhere in the kitchen.
"Aye surprise, surprise !" We yelled as the house was filled with family of James girls family and some of our closest earners and associates.
They all gave their hellos and thanks to James as he came to us, the original six.We walked into Ellie's room as the others were outside partying and giving his girl gifts.
"Lock the door…" I said as Ellie went to lock it and Danny pulled up out a box full of guns under Ellie's bed.
"Alright so you said up you let one live and you told em to make it known of the 19 club ?" Says Marvin laughingly as Ricky replies "yea, we're serious about it aren't we, I mean we seem serious with the money we've got lined up and the little workers around the neighborhood doing there part to make us happy …" he says as they all laugh.
"The hell is so funny, is the club a joke now ?" He asks as Marvin says
"No, no of course not it's just seems funny, you doing that ?" Makes them all laugh as Ricky angrily says
"What the fuck is so funny about that, am I a clown to you Marv, do I have a big red nose and clown suit …" he says as Danny jokes about
"Well big nose i don't know but the suit, maybe …" he says as they all laugh now.Ricky is angered as he feels embarrassed from us all.
"Hey Cmon lay off him, he did good either way, that's good Ricky you got us more known around maybe they'll take us more seriously…." says Marvin as they all start packing pistols.
"I mean Christ we got away with a two million dollar heist and we did is so swiftly…." He says as Ellie turns on his AC in the room then the tv.He puts on "Fear And Loathing In Las Vegas".James, Ellie and Ricky watch as me, Marvin and Danny discuss the situation that occurred.
"Okay, Danny you look into what little gang that was that tried to get em lacking, Dalton, you get Ron to start collecting on cash, you're too big to be debt collector now….have him do it for you …." He says as we nod in agreement.We walks up to James and says "and you Mr.Man of the hour , god we could've lost you tonight….go out there and be with your girl, Cmon go !" He demands as we all cheer him on as he leaves the room and locks it on his way out.
We all lurk around the room and watch the movie for a bit as Danny says to Marvin
"Marv I got us a little job we can do that'll pay well …." He says as Marvin ask "yea what ?"
They murmur to themselves as the rest of us focus on the film.
It's now later on at night, Danny and Ricky have gone to the same spot him and James almost got mugged.They drive around the nearby neighborhoods as they drive up to a home.
"You sure this is it ?" Asks Ricky as Danny replies
"Yea it is, it should be half a dozen guys, I'm assuming armed so, let's hope they do this right…"
They sit in the car, parked a few houses from the home as they wait now.A black van drives up and about eight men in ski mask exit the vehicle and barge into the home.Ricky looks at his watch as he times it at 11:34 pm, they hear commotion as gunfire is heard.
"Christ …" he says as Danny says "don't worry that's our guys, they're pro at this …."
It's rowdy for a minute as the watch turn to 11:36 pm, the men rush out with one man and drag him into the van.They drive as Danny follows, "alright we got the son of a bitch ….." he says as Ricky asks
"Who's that ?" They make it back to a unknown warehouse as Danny says
"Well the Motherfucker that survived your little shot, this guy is his boss.We squeeze him, we get those fuckers to never step out line …." He says as they enter the warehouse.They walk in as they see the man tied up and laying on the floor.
"Oh nights just about to begin Ricky ….this little shits for James now, he tried to make his kid a bastard already …. The fuck !" He yells as he kicks the man in the stomach.
As all that occurred me and Marvin were at the apartments.We're in Marvins home, apartment 5, it's upstairs, facing the neighborhood.He lights a cigarette as he looks out the window looking upon the streets as he asks
"How long you think this'll last Dalton …."
I drink up my water as I say "I hope forever …"
He laughs and says
"This don't last forever, look it a few years from now, we're all dead….we won't make it to 30 …." He says as he continues to smoke.He has ABBA playing in background of his record player, he's playing "GIMME ! GIMME ! GIMME ! ".
"I know like you do, this doesn't end well for guys like us….hell maybe you'll survive with that Irish blood in ya but us, we'll be dropped like flies …." He says as I add on
"Don't think like that, we're living good with the right money but I want more of it you know, who knows maybe I'll be a singer …." Says Marvin as I laugh.He continues to smoke as he looks into the streets as he whispers to himself
"Maybe….." As me and Marvin are in his home, Danny and Ricky have put a number on that guy as the morning after, in his neighborhood.They had him tied to a billboard as people drove by and saw him, beaten and defeated.It took hours until they finally called 9-1-1.Poor bastard, I mean sure he's in too deep with this all but id kill myself if I was embarrassed like that.He was dead from being up there too long and injuries from Danny and Ricky.They never pinned it on them, they gave called it a suicide.Lucky for us you might think but this is bad news.This guy we fucking crucified was connected, more than we thought.
