Rescue ships had been sent in the direction of the airship alongside some speedboats.
Under the order of Drake, the D.E.S and police had surrounded the coastline, awaiting the president's return. It wasn't easy for Winston to convince the police to come along, if not for the chief being their lapdog.
He'd staked Drake's name to convince them, so if the president arrived alone - he'd be taken into custody.
But if he managed to take a few people with him, the police were likely to believe his lies.
Regardless, Winston knew that failure wasn't an option.
"Why do we even have to listen to this guy? He's just a butler!". One of the officers lowered his gun to approach Winston but got blocked off by two members of the D.E.S. "Tchh!".
