Chapter 32 - The Vile Defender; Azur (5)

The little blue haired and white eyed elf starting tremendously increasing muscle mass and looked more terrifying by the minute.

"Oh, I was late." Azur said, putting his hands behind his back. Readying himself for battle.

It turns out that the Elven Guardian had already given up, the Demon had changed him. In this weird world, your intention and purpose make you what you are in a literal sense.

The Elven Guardian no longer had a reason to Guard and the Demonic Destroyer made him a servant and gave him a purpose as a Fiend.

"You serve Leviathan now, right? Well, it's the only logical Destroyer you could choose since he is the ruler of the seas where your Crypt once was." Azur stated.

The muscles inside of the elves body were already bursting out and tearing his flesh as blood dripped from all around him.

One horn-like structure protruded from the right side of his head and his white eyes had blood red veins pulse, he went from being cute to looking Demonic so quickly.

It was simply one of the things that has to be gone through to become a Fiend.

"No answer. Well, let's make this quick." Azur said.

"Athena, Search and Equip the Harvester. Wait, no. Better yet, the Cloud splitter, that's lighter." Azur made his demands to his system.

The rock plaque that was his interface with the system appeared before him and he easily plunged his palm into it and pulled out a translucent azure-colored straight blade with no sheathe.

It looked like glass and was something that felt very light and easy to handle.

The Elven Fiend didn't wait for him to get used to the feel of the light blade and immediately grabbed a tree and braced it for a decisive swing at Azur.

It hit Azur right on and it would be best to presume that he was completely squashed, a tree of such thickness and weight plus the strength used in swinging it would be able to create a crater on the ground with a wide radius.

But the Tree didn't touch the floor, it clearly connected with Azur but the attack did no damage, Azur still stood there like nothing happened and kept inspecting his sword.

Azur then rubbed his palm across the blade and swiftly swung it upwards. It swiftly cut cleanly through the tree and if the Fiend was not quick enough it would have cut through him as well.

The elven Fiend quickly leapt back quickly in a zigzag motion and left the huge tree that was cut in half.

Azur stepped forward, blood was dripping from his head and it tainted his beautifully dark hair, the flames of wrath burning in his eyes.

As he said, this was surely going to be a quick battle.

Azur calmed himself so he could focus all of his anger on one thing; his goal. Soot began releasing from the soles of his foot wear and like a bullet he was speedily propelled through the distance between him and his opponent as flames violently got released from his feet.

The elven Fiend knew he would not be quick enough to dodge so he tried to attack him and wallop him into the floor, but this was a dumb decision.

"It seems the increase in size didn't help the brain at all." Azur said as he sped past the initiated attack.

He the pointed his blade forward and plunged it right into the chest of the newly created Fiend. Azur knowing that this was barely enough to kill it, he pointed his unarmed hand into the sky and his Regal Purple Flames erupted from his palm.

Propelling him downwards with extreme force which supported him in tearing through the thick muscles and tore open the chest and abdomen of the Elf.

"Wait, don't you want to get any knowledge from me!? Don't you want to know what Demon I contracted!? Aren't you that Eccentric Knowledge seeker Azur!?" The Elven Fiend asked knowing that this was foolish and that he was at the verge of death.

"Was that what you were told to count on in a battle with me? Hahahahahahahahah" Azur asked and cackled loudly until his ribs hurt.

"Even if I wanted to know something, as long as it risks something I am not willing to lose then I can put it aside. Nevertheless, there is basically nothing I want to know that I am sure you will give me unadulterated, so why go through the trouble." Azur rhetorically questioned as the Elven Fiends guts spilled all over the floor.

"I won't disappear so easily. you were the one responsible for destroying my Crypt originally, now you come back, centuries later to destroy the town that I was happy to see thriving!! The demons say that I am important in the final battle that will destroy you, the battle that even the Dictators up above are anticipating!!! I will be there on that glorious day!!" The Elven Fiend wasted his last breaths screaming out loudly.

"Final battle? That is a joke so bad that I can't even chuckle. Nothing is killing me and nothing is bringing you back. That is the difference. I am destined to achieve my ambitions; you have been destined to die for my cause." Azur said.

His lethal Crimson energy pulsing out and spreading a crippling fear everywhere, even the roots of the trees began receding and their leaves began burning to ash.

"You Ignorant Bastar-" The elven Fiend tried to scream out before he was interrupted.

Azur swung the blade upwards diagonally and split his head in half, the wind that was displaced by the sheer force of the swinging of the blade kept on traveling even after the attack was done. This blade proved its name.

Azur walked over to the half of the split head with the horn and looked at the Pentagram on the horn.

"Ahh, so it was Belial then? Wonderful, then this thing may not have been bluffing." Azur said, still trying to handle his boiling anger.
