In the deepest part of the where humans won't be able to reach, an amazing, extraordinary, and magical place exists named Place of Idris Delmare. This name was given by Amphitrite, the goddess of the sea. "Idris" means 'strong leader', and "Delmare" means 'of the sea', to the very first Mermaid who rules the place.
Mermaids, Hydra, Kraken, Leviathan, Vampire Squid, and other mythical sea monsters and creatures exist in the Place of Idris Delmare. Mermaids' life was an average of 500 years old, and 30,000 years later, a certain group of mythical monsters planned to overthrow the 62nd King. With the help of the rest of the sea creatures and monsters, they successfully killed King Griffin after 350 years. The battle lasted longer since Mermaids are indeed considered the most powerful clan back then. After killing the King and his relatives, they cut the magical vein of every mermaid that was left alive. Magical veins are the source of magic and strength for every mythical creature and monster. And every monster or creature has an average of 10 magical veins. Even just by cutting one of their magical veins, half of their power and strength will be cut. And their cut power will be passed from generation to generation. They might be able to use magics but that won't be enough compared to others who doesn't.
After the war, the Place of Idris Delmare was divided into different clans. Even though there's still one clan who reigns above them, the once united place is now divided. Hydra's, a gigantic water-snake-like monster with an average of 3 heads and 300 years of life, who's strength were next to Mermaids, take over the Place of Idris Delmare. Originally, the first Hydra has 9 heads and was known for being an immortal, but nobody have seen that Hydra for over 29,000 years. Nobody know if it's real or it was just a myth that was passed on from generation to generation.
Little did they know, the last mermaid princess with pure-blood who's destined to take over the throne, was secretly hidden and sealed off by the greatest Mermaid Mage who acted with the authority of King Griffin before they lost the war. Only the King and the Great Mage know this fact since it's a high-tier magic that could take the life of its caster.

"Uwahhh! Uwahhh! Uwahhh!"
A sound of a crying was heard while a mermaid was on her way home. The sound came from somewhere but she couldn't pin-point where is it. She swim and follow the sound on where is it coming from.
"Uwahhh! Uwahhh! Uwahhh!"
"Where is it coming from? and a baby? did someone leave a baby?"
The mermaid keeps on swimming and finally, the sound gets louder. When she looked around, she saw a baby mermaid glowing on the bottom of the sea with a few corals and clams around her. She's also wearing an expensive set of baby clothes with a couple of treasures beside her.
"W-who? W-what? This isn't real!"
She tried to say it a couple of times, pinched herself and even slap it just to make sure that she's looking at the baby for real.
The treasures beside the baby are all treasures that can let a family of 10 to live a leisurely life for a couple of centuries. Her clothes looks so expensive in a glance and her aura is way too strong compared to other newborn babies.
"A miracle! This is a miracle!" She shouted and swim further to look closely on the baby.
Once she reach the side of the baby and tried to lull her, she saw a note covered with a strong magic to protect it from getting destroyed. She opened the note and read it.
"To you who will find the crown princess..."
"To you who will find the Crown Princess after being sealed and hidden, I would like to entrust you her life until she reach adulthood. She is the last Pure-blooded royalty, daughter of the late 62nd Mermaid King, King Griffin, Crown Princess Cordelia Reginn. We know that we will lose this war so we secretly sealed away the princess for her safety and for the future of all the mermaids. You who were chosen by the power of the goddess Amphitrite to take care of our last hope, please guide and protect her as much as you can. She will be the last hope that can change the future of all the creatures and monsters in the sea. We also left a couple of treasures that can last for a few centuries so use it as you fit. We entrust you the hope and the will of all the late mermaids, and the will of the King.

"Princess Cordelia, I'm Guinevere and I will be your mother from now on. I will take care of you, love you, and protect you just like a real daughter. Let's get along well okay?" She held her in her arms and twirl around the place. She looked back at the baby and saw her giggling and smiling.
From this day onward, she will be a mother.
After taking all the treasures in her magical bag, (a small bag that doesn't get heavy even if you store a lot with a maximum capacity of 1 ton) she carried the child and hide for a few years to avoid suspicion.
From that day onwards, their magical adventure full of challenges, will start.
