It was a stormy night rain was pouring down heavily a little maiden was running wildly and trying save herself from some people, her white gown was torn apart from the bottom and it was all soak she had fallen on some rocks but she managed to get up in time and continue running, until it got hard for her to see as everything became blurry her eyes were watering and she couldn't find any place safe to hide but then suddenly she saw a huge old mansion infront of her,
she was panting and heaving, trying to catch her breath before she could think of going inside, but what if someone finds me?, she thought She finally got near the big old mansion and looked up at it The mansion was really tall and huge the walls were so thick and it seemed like very old, the walls had some vines growing all them and even more on the windows making the whole structure look creepier,
than it already was. The whole building looked deserted, not another house within miles, no people, nothing but then she gathered some courage to knock on the huge door that seemed to be made out of black iron and metal with weird patterns and designs,
then slowly the door creaked open which caught her off guard, there standing a young maid with a candle in hand, the only light in the darkness. The young girl who had been standing on the doorstep didn't say anything and only stared at her with curiosity and a slight suspicion. "Um.. can I please get inside?", asked the maiden, timidly.
The maid just stood there looking at her, the thundestorm was still raging outside, the maid then said "please come in" with a smile on her face. She led the way in and closed the door behind them, after they both got inside the interior looked very beautiful and elegant, it felt a bit warm, as well.
There were two staircases on each side of the entrance, one heading towards the kitchen and the other one going deeper into the house. "I'm sorry, are you lost?" Asked the maid, turning around to look at the young lady, The maiden came back her sense and said that she was, and then added that she didn't know where else to go. "Well, could I please stay here for tonight?," said the little maiden.
