Chapter 13 - Dream Travel

After completing his birth ceremony, Horus was more than ten times stronger than when he had first appeared in Egypt.

Even though he would still be beaten up by Set in his current state, however, to Tan Weili, it was still a good start.

As for Set's threat, he was not too worried.

After all, as time passed, Horus' power would only grow stronger.

One day, he would defeat Set, just as he was destined to do in Egypt mythology!

However, with the completion of the ritual, Osiris' resurrection time was almost over.

A woman is weak, but a mother is strong.

Due to Horus's presence, Isis did not cry when she saw that her husband was about to leave. Instead, she appeared very strong.

She said to Osiris, "Don't worry! As long as I'm here, I won't let Horus come to any harm."

Osiris consoled his wife, "Don't worry, I've been to the Netherworld with Ra before. Although there are a lot of demons there and it's very dangerous, I'm confident that I can stand firm there and open up a living space of my own."

Then, he said to Tan Weili, "Child, I'm sorry that I can only be with you for less than a day in your life."

"But fortunately, you're a mature, brave, and strong boy now!"

"Promise me that after I leave, you must take good care of your mother and not let her get hurt, okay?"

Tan Weili naturally wouldn't refuse such a request.

"Don't worry! Whether it is Set or the other gods, I will not let them hurt Mother."

However, Osiris was not satisfied with this answer.

He patted his son's shoulder and added, "Including you!"

Tan Weili was stunned for two seconds.

But very quickly, his eyes became determined.

He promised Osiris, "That includes me!"

Osiris was finally satisfied.

Feeling the power from the Netherworld begin to drag him out of this world, Osiris said in his final moments, "Child, I believe that you will be able to defeat Set and inherit my position. You will become the new pharaoh of Egypt. However, it is not easy to be a good pharaoh."

"Therefore, you must remember three things. First, treat your people well. Second, respect all the gods. Third, be wary of your subjects!"

"Only by doing these three things can you be a good pharaoh. Do you understand?"

Osiris' suggestion was very beneficial to Tan Weili, so he nodded. "I'll remember that!"

After Osiris left, Isis called Anubis and prepared to return to the palace.

Anubis's jackal eyes flashed with curiosity and friendliness as he looked at Horus, his half-brother who had just been born.

However, when he heard that Horus had used some special method to drive Set away from the palace before he was born, the jackal god was shocked.

Whether it was the strangeness of him appearing in this world before he was born or the fact that he had forced Set to retreat, it was enough to prove the terrifying strength of his little brother.

Fortunately, Isis and Tan Weili had a tacit understanding not to tell Anubis the reason why Horus could appear in this world before he was born.

Otherwise, Anubis would not only be shocked, but also terrified.

Soon, everyone returned to the palace.

Even though they already knew that Tan Weili had forced Set to retreat, Isis and Anubis still found it unbelievable when they saw the soldiers who had once slaughtered wantonly in the palace disappear.

As the God of Power and War, how could Set be defeated by a newborn... No! An unborn child and forced to retreat?

But soon, Isis noticed another problem.

She found that when they walked in the palace, the maids and guards who came and went would salute them.

Only those with divinity could sense the existence of god, and it was impossible for these maids and guards to all have divinity.

However, they did pay their respects.

Then, there could only be one explanation.

"Horus, you're a demigod now, right?"

In the eyes of the gods in the Divine Realm, demigods would appear in front of them as their divine form.

And the human soul would appear in front of them in the form of a small person.

Therefore, the divinity of demigods often covered the part of them that belonged to humans, so the gods could not directly see the existence of the demigods as humans.

Only when humans interacted with demigods would the gods know that the existence with divinity beside them was actually a demigod!

In response to Isis' question, Tan Weili nodded and said, "That's right. My human identity is Sekeheim."

"I see!"

Upon hearing the name Sekeheim, Isis' face showed an expression of sudden realization.

As the son of Possibson, if it were not for Set's plot, he would have merged with Osiris after Possibson's death and become the new pharaoh of Egypt.

Looking at Tan Weili, Isis said, "So the reason why Sekeheim is usually so dazed is all because of you."

"However, he is indeed a good identity, especially when you want to inherit Osiris' pharaoh position. This identity can save you a lot of trouble."

After learning that Tan Weili was a demigod, Isis was going to teach him some magic that was more practical for demigods.

She asked Tan Weili, "Is there any magic that you want to learn now?"

When he heard that the Goddess of Magic from Egypt wanted to teach him magic, Tan Weili naturally wouldn't refuse.

He began to analyze his current situation.

Tan Weili felt that because he had driven Set away earlier than Horus in the original Egypt mythology, the position of pharaoh had already fallen to him.

Having power was a good thing, but it also meant responsibility.

Tan Weili had to maintain the stability in Egypt, deal with all kinds of government affairs, organize festivals, develop, and produce.

This also meant that he did not have the time to be like Horus in Egypt mythology, where he had to train and grow.

Thinking of this, he told Isis about his troubles, hoping that Isis could teach him a way to solve the current problem.

Upon hearing her son's distress, Isis immediately laughed and said, "I do have a spell that can solve this problem. Come with me!"

Upon hearing this, Tan Weili immediately followed Isis and came to a remote room in the palace.

Standing at the door of the room, Tan Weili vaguely remembered that it was just a meaningless empty room in the real world.

There had been many maidservants who had speculated about the use of this room and suggested to Sphynx cat that he should use it, but they were all rejected by him.

Once he thought about how the pharaohs that these maids were facing were Osiris, Tan Weili realized that this room was not as simple as it seemed.

As expected!

When Tan Weili followed Isis into the room, the originally empty room had turned into a magic workshop filled with all kinds of books, materials, and equipment in the Divine Realm!

Without a doubt, this was the room that Osiris had specially prepared for Isis!

Isis took a papyrus scroll from the bookshelf in the room and handed it to Tan Weili.

The Goddess of Magic said, "This spell is called Dream Travel. It's a spell specially designed for demigods."

"It can allow you to separate your humanity from your divinity. After you fall asleep on the human side, you can move freely like a god."

"During this period, your body will remain asleep until your divinity returns to your body and you wake up."
