The drum had a diameter of one meter and was placed on a stand one and a half meters tall. Next to it were two drumsticks, slightly thicker than chopsticks, adorned with red tassels.
Everyone looked toward the large drum.
The drum's body was black, like the solidified form of a dark night, and the drumhead was made of some kind of leather, on which there was a gender-neutral face that was indistinctly male or female.
Ashley Gan looked around; no one made a move, after all, this was rule contamination, and any careless touch might bring about a deadly disaster.
"Fuck!"
Ashley Gan cursed. His brother was skinned and couldn't withstand the high temperature any better than the others. Staying any longer meant certain death.
"I'll do it!"
Ashley Gan took three large strides to the front of the drum and reached for the drumsticks: "God Lin, if something happens to me, I hope you can take care of my brother, at least... at least don't let him die too painfully!"
