The train was zipping along at high speed, very stable. An ordinary person without Lin Baici's keen perception wouldn't notice the slight jostling.
The train windows were scrubbed bright and spotless. However, no scenery could be seen outside because a thick white fog enveloped everything, limiting visibility to no more than three meters.
It was the same layout in every ordinary compartment. Since there were no people, it was quiet like a midnight graveyard, which was frankly a bit scary.
Lin Baici moved towards the connecting section of the VIP compartment.
Above the carriage, a strip screen displayed a row of red characters.
[Welcome Mr. Lin Baici aboard this train. We're delighted to serve you!]
This message scrolled repeatedly, looking quite imposing. It was a shame no travelers were present other than Lin Baici to see it.
