Jade's phone woke her from sleep the fireplace heated the entire room the first thing she search for is Clinton he wasn't in the room she took the phone Brie had called her two times, she called for Clinton dialing Brie's number after three rings she picked up the FaceTime.
"Hey girl what's up with you," Brie said from her side of the phone jade holding her phone going to the living room.
"Hey morning baby girl, whatcha wearing," she said having a better look Brie asked her to guess she tried to remember looking closely at her tag, and jade covered her mouth in excitement Brie nods her head.
"Congratulations omg I'm so happy for you honey I can not believe this" jade congratulated her friend on her new position instruments as the bee manager.
"How is London I saw your photos on WhatsApp jeez I want that satin gown isn't that Gucci girllllll you're killing it" jade blushed putting the phone on the bathroom counter.
"Why not, I dunno if this is real I think maybe Clinton likes me, or is it my imagination mistaken little attention for love" Brie briefly laughed clicking on her computer.
"Come on Brie say something, the worst part is I'm trying to get in his pants I cannot control myself being around him Brie he's freaking hot and I cannot handle it," jade said pressing the paste onto her brush.

"I woke up and you were gone I didn't notice you come to bed," jade asked sitting on one of the stools and taking out her food.
"I thought you might want Chinese breakfast my vendor is the best no offense to the hotel, I always eat at his place, usually eat soybean milk and deep-fried dough sticks, steamed buns, tofu pudding, wheat noodles, or rice noodles what's your favorite" jade was already holding her chopsticks ready to dig in noticing how he's trying to dodge the question Clinton sat opposite her after drinking half of the water from the bottle took his chopsticks as well.
"I love squid generally the Chinese seafood I don't like the puddling" she ate her rice noodles, and Clinton dig in as well.
"I think we have to focus on why we are together rather than how we are feeling I was tipsy last night and me being clingy was way out of line-
"Really" Clinton cut in sharply.

"I wanted to say the same thing I'm not using it against you maybe you should cut the champagne," Clinton said taking out the wiper to clean his lips, jade ate just three spoons of her food and kept it, taking two sticks of the deep fried dough stick.
"Woke up having headaches and sort I can't promise you that though after all events and dinner doesn't seem like to be over, talking of which the ball is tomorrow, how is it like?" she asked chewing softly.
"Is a business ball so everything is business maybe if you happen to make friends it should be about your beauty line speaking of that what's your experience?" Clinton asked sipping his Dou Jiang.
"Last time I tried I failed I did four months as a nail tech I still have that in my head then I have intentions on doing lip gloss and lipsticks however the capital to start at the time wasn't available so I have to take the job in TRUNTS it happens the job only take care of bills and food I can even afford the cloths I want," jade said no longer eating however she took the paper cup tea drinking it as well as Clinton he wasn't eating too. She saw how helpless he looked nothing less she had gone through hard times her entire life if anyone had told her she will be sitting in the same room with Clinton Abraham matter of fact acting as his girlfriend she will not believe it, all her life what she ever wanted was a good life and a good man seems like life keep scoring her on the love highway.

"I thought as much" she left the table and headed to the bedroom opening the balcony and viewing the city of London again.
"Thank you Clinton" she mutters quietly to herself still in her tan top and sweatpants.
"I did not hear you what did you say" Clinton stood behind her jade glancing at him and then back at her view.
"Nothing, the city is clean and beautiful- Clinton brought out his phone then took a selfie of jade and put a peace sign.
"Let me see how I look" Clinton gave her the phone.
"Beautiful as always" he complimented her she smile swiping and looking at her morning face.
"What's your schedule for today do you have any plans," Clinton asked putting his two hands in his pocket jade still holding his phone, she found out he had snapped her at the elite party without her noticing.
"The stylist is coming to fix me into the haute couture dress I am nervous Clinton not only does the dress freak me out the entire ball thing," she said handing over his phone to him.
"Why didn't you say something if you can't handle it is fine you can stay home I don't want you getting under pressure that wasn't part of the contract-
"Your mom, she's the entire reason plus she already drafted her plan gifting me that dress what's your excuse why I didn't attend the ball"
"Tsk tsk maybe I should stay with you if Is going to be entirely awkward with the stylist" jade softly pushed him on the chest.
"Stop treating me like a baby I can take care of myself, if you have plans you should go maybe I can meet you at lunch-
"Ahh regarding that a friend of mine has a meeting- Clinton observe the face she wasn't comfortable with it.
"He's a guy my long-time friend he's going to be at the ball as well if you get too bored after you're done with the stylist you can do some shopping" he rests his two hands on her shoulders softening her nerves.
"Okay, maybe you should shower first" she took his hands off and then walk to the living room.

Clinton parked his Range Rover in the parking lot when his friend screamed from upstairs.
"That's Abraham come on man" the maid open the door for him he walk passed her to the garden his friend already set wines, fruits, and the rest snacks more than six ladies were in the pool wearing bikinis.
"How you doing man" Clinton and his friend exchanged hands shaking the ladies in the pool waved at him.
"Say hello to them can't you see they like you" Clinton waved it away having a seat, Fredrick pour whisky into two short glasses before picking ice into his, Clinton did the same thing they cheer before having a sip.
"I was surprised to see your name on the ball list I mean I did not plan to attend as well but my bloody father insisted so tell me it's been two years you haven't been to the ball why now-
"Because I was single man you don't attend business ball alone I always thought maybe when next I come is going to be with my wife" Fred chuckle the look on his face wasn't a look of congratulations it was doubtful and surprise.
"So do you have a wife now"? He asked Clinton to stare at him for a while he gulp his drink taking the bottle to pour more drink into his cup when Fred touched his wrist. He looks worried for him as he comes closer more like a whisper!!!
"Slow down, don't worry you can talk to me I am under the same pressure I have been with this Brazilian model for a month now my parents think she's good for me because her mom and my mom have some sort of a good business relationship, I don't see myself falling in love with a woman I can have kids which is fine," Fred said Clinton would've shared the whole contract thing with Fred but is different now.
"I like her, she's beautiful and the most important part she's innocent and ambitious" Fred nods his head exactly what he was expecting.
"You can go with the flow maybe a prenup for your wedding whenever you start weeping I'm here to console you with a bottle of The Macallan Fine and Rare" Clinton raises his glass cheering that Fred to raise his as well.
"I'm not sure she's after my money man" Clinton defends the part he suggests a prenup. Fred brushes it away that is what a man in love would say I don't think she is after my money.
"Which of these ladies are you taking along tonight, I'm throwing a party you should be there-
"I can't" Fred hit him in the leg laughing out loud.

Clinton held his glass almost to his face about the part Fred said piece of shit regarding his ex he was so about her not thinking about having that same experience being in the news with different kinds of women is exhausting, he's the guy that gets easily bored of women however he can't deny it that he doesn't love jade company she makes him laugh plus her complains, the contract might be the principal thing I assure you there is more to it.

"I didn't quite get her name, Why didn't you come with her then but decide to come alone fishy huh!!" Fred opposes Clinton laughed sipping more of the whisky. Clinton looked around the girls were yelling loudly shooting each other with water guns, Fred understands they were the reasons.
"You're a bad influence the truth is She has plans plus she had to try out some clothes for the ball and make choices for shoes, women, and wardrobe are 5&6 you know girls they always love outdoing themselves she wanna look her best-
"For you, I guess," Fred asked
"I wish that was true, either way, I'm fine" hopefully it was all for his mom he's some sort of exclusivity.
