"Wait!!" Aella yelled as she blocked his exit.
"Why are you screaming?" Bane gritted as though he was getting irritated already.
"Let me go with you. I promise not to get in the way," Aella pleaded.
At least if she was there with him, she wouldn't be chewing her fingers from worrying about him.
She would only run mad here while waiting for him.
Bane's expression didn't waver a bit as he stared at her with his signature blank look.
"No," he replied curtly as he walked out of the dining room.
"But why? You saw I was quite good with the sword the last time so I would be more of an asset than a liability," Aella followed behind him as she tried to convince him to take her.
"The last time where you ended up with a bleeding foot and getting thrown out of the window?" Bane turned towards her with a knowing look.
Aella smiled sheepishly, knowing he was right about that.
