Aella walked out of the room hurriedly, wanting to get away from Bane as quickly as she could.
Her heart jolted in her chest when she heard footsteps behind her which made her increase her pace.
She needed to get to the room quickly! She can't let him see her! Her cheeks were heated up and she felt jumbled inside her head.
"Aella," Bane called and her stomach fluttered as always.
No, not now! This wasn't the time to be excited by his deep voice calling her name!
"Aella, halt, I need to talk to you," he seemed persistent.
"I need to be alone, Bane,"
Aella got to the main hall as she moved to the staircase but she couldn't get far as her elbow was held by a strong grip.
Her body was whirled in a matter of seconds and she was left staring at those glimmering golden orbs which stole her breath away.
Bane was just a few inches away from her and she could feel the warmth emitting from his body which sizzled down her skin.
