"D-Derake." Aella stuttered as she wiped her eyes to make sure she wasn't seeing wrong.
This was the same pet animal Bane had in Cassa Dron. She had no idea how he found her here or why he was here but for the first time in weeks, a wide smile spread onto her face at the sight of an old friend.
'Aella.' Derake spoke inside her mind.
"It is you." she got up to her feet and opened her arms widely to hug him.
She wasn't scared of him just the way she was when she had first met him in the Dark Lands. Instead, seeing him again had somehow comforted her in ways she couldn't imagine.
"W-What are you doing here?" Aella pulled away as she asked, still staring at him because part of her mind was telling her she was hallucinating. "And how did you find me? I did not know you could come here all by yourself."
'I imprinted your scent in my memory and simply searched until I found you here crying.' he answered.
